MT. PYRE had been left with the scars of a battlefield after recent events. Furthermore, it had become a true BORDER to the netherworld. Not daring to venture through it alone just yet, however, Remiel keeps to the territory that remains in his reality for now.

He walks along a stone-paved, moss-covered path that cuts through the mountain cemetery. Keeping itself dutifully beside him is a SHINY UMBREON. The early morning fog hasn't entirely dissipated just yet, but the sun peeks through the clouds above every now and again.

Before too long, a BALTOY spins its way out of a small crater left behind from the conflict. It crosses their path, seemingly lost and confused. A dent in the side of its head causes Remiel to believe that it has somehow become defective.

Deciding that he would help it, by capturing it and taking it back to his lab for repair, the prince sends his Umbreon forth to cast a CONFUSE RAY. In its now utterly dazed state, the Baltoy collapses. Remiel is quick to follow up with the toss of a Luxury Ball.

their first encounter comes in the form of a dreepy that materializes out of the shadows in front of them. still young and inexperienced, it hasn't quite perfected scaring people yet so it takes a moment to look around before finally noticing virizion and matias.[break][break]

only then does it let out an ASTONISH, hoping to scare them. but by then it's too late.[break][break]

it fades away, shy.

There's a strange ghostly candle flickering in the distance... along with a familiar silhouette in the mist. Before Remiel can really approach the two, however, a DOUBLADE darts across the sky and attempts to SLASH him. Thankfully, his Umbreon DETECTS the attack and thwarts it.

An attempt to SHADOW SNEAK away is then stopped with the swift slam of an IRON TAIL. Dazed and confused, the pair of twin swords soon find their strips of cloth entangled. The royal prince takes this opportunity to pull out an empty Luxury Ball from his pack and cast it.

recognizing the candle sticking out of the ground, he stops in his tracks, waiting until a wild greavard inevitably bursts out in an attempt to scare them. to not hurt its feelings, matias pretends to jump, feigning shock only to point at it.[break][break]

the sword of justice is not as amused. it looks over at matias, then the greavard, before sending a wave of MAGICAL LEAVES at it. too engrossed by the pretty LEAVES, the greavard does not see the pokeball coming.[break][break]

Remiel walks ahead just as MATIAS SILPH yells his command. The mist clears just before the VIRIZION summons a whirlwind of MAGICAL LEAVES to strike its opponent. Wide-eyed at the sight of the impressive beast, the royal fails to notice the HATENNA waddling on the ground below and accidentally bumps into it with his boot.

The little fairy cries out in CONFUSION, causing a momentary psychic surge that prompts Remiel's Umbreon to step in with the whack of an IRON TAIL. Though its method might have been overkill, however, the Hatenna stops crying and falls unconscious instead. Remiel recovers from the psychic damage with a rub of his head and a groan.

After tossing an empty ball down to capture the Hatenna, however, he turns to regard Matias and his legendary beast once more. His fascination clears any lingering headache as he smiles. "I've heard tale of you traveling with a Virizion. It's even more impressive in person."

the sword of justice seems to be hesitant of remy, at least for now which does stick out to matias as virizion's usually rather friendly, if not indifferent. he wonders why exactly.[break][break]

virizion turns to approach a munna, greeting it with a bump on its nose before sending it floating along on its way.[break][break]

The hesitance on Virizion's part does not go unnoticed. Remiel is something of an expert when it comes to reading silent expressions, after all. He had his legendary familiar and illeana reyes to thank for that. Considering Virizion's history in mythology and legend, however, the royal harbors a few guesses as to why he's being shunned by it.

"I don't believe you have," Remiel responds, nonchalantly turning his gaze to a DUSKNOIR that appears from the ether to cast a MEAN LOOK upon them. Sensing an incoming attack, however, his Umbreon strikes the genie down with an IRON TAIL. Afterward, the royal tosses an empty ball.

"Zekrom's a bit of a recluse, really. He doesn't care to be bothered unless it's important." He sighs.
