While he knows today is the day Razz does spend some time over at the Ranger base in Slateport, organizing files and reading up and each and every Ranger to try and get to know each and every one of them. Well at least on paper he knows them, but if he is anything to go by everything that's on these papers could be a lie. Which was why he was planning his interviews before he would host his meeting with the whole Ranger base. It was just a good base point to start with until his private phone finally beeped. [break][break]

Salem checks it before letting the new Head Ranger know just who it was. Welp time to get this done. [break][break]

Rather than his old blue Jacket Razz takes out the standard Yellow Jacket meant to be used by Captains as he hasn't been given anything new for his promotion outside the new arm band. Accompanying him were two of his Bisharp that were ordered to help with crowd control as he is sure people would panic as its not like anyone else but them know that this was staged. Once he spots his target Razz blows a whistle to get his attention. [break][break]

"Rowan Wrynn!" he calls out, voice commanding as he tries to emulate the new authority he now has as, "You are under arrest for your involvement with Team Rocket, I suggest you come quietly as I rather not do this the hard way," something he knew would be impossible as Rowan had a performance to keep up on his own but at least witnesses would see he was giving the other a chance.

"You've been warned, everyone get somewhere safe!" the Head Ranger orders and Yellow takes up point commanding several Pawniard to help make the crowd get back as the battle starts. Both Pitch and Salem ready for battle. While Razz and Salem focus on the pokemon ahead of them Pitch follows where the other pokeball lands. The style of whistling was definitely familiar but it wasn't going to deter him from this battle. He does two sharp whistles of his own and Pitch knows what he needs to do. [break][break]

Arms up to defend his trainer and Salem Pitch unleashes HYDRO CANNON to counter the FLASH CANNON coming their way. It may lead him open for a moment but the Bisharp was confident in it's defense that it could handle an attack while it recovered. Its PRESSURE making it so it couldn't do the same attack twice. [break][break]

Mean while Razz and Salem went on the offensive while the Urshifu. While it made a move to boost it's attack Ranger and pokemon go on the attack together as a fireball is formed in his hands before Razz launches it to hit the other with an explosion. [break][break]

razz can conjure BALLS OF FLAME within his hands to hurl at high-speeds to detonate.
these explosions will BURN targets caught in the detonation and scorch the land they hit

The Ranger intending to cause burn to the fighting pokemon to help Salem, while the pokerus infected feline uses PSYCHIC to blast the fighting type back as he takes the stage.

Despite it's weariness from the first attack, Pitch is able to bring up his arms to somewhat defend itself against the attack, or if nothing else hold it's own against the water and ice combo. The bisharp shaking itself a bit as if to dry off before readying itself again as it dashes at the other pokemon before a furry of NIGHT SLASHES at the turtle pokemon. [break][break]

Meanwhile with Salem in such close proximity of Razz, the psychic pokemon is easily able to move himself in front of his trainer as the Urshifu comes in to attack with its DYNAMIC PUNCH. The hit looking painful at first as it struck seeming to damage the cat quiet harshly at first before Salem seems to recover with a snap motion as his odd ability DISGUISE is broken by the first attack. And with it up close and personal the Meowstic's eyes glow pink before summoning its SPRINGTIDE STORM at the fighting pokemon. Intending to both hurt and knock them back. [break][break]

Meanwhile, with the Urshifu no longer in his way, Razz makes a run at Rowan always taking on the important stance of 'take out the head the body falls with' as the young Ranger attempts to punch him in the face to knock the other down.

Salem cries out at his trainer in warning as Razz turns, seeing the Urshifu coming at him and knowing he himself too slow to actually go against it. The kick knocks him down as he is unable to avoid it, the ranger grunting in pain but he has had so much worse. Besides this needed to be believable and he'll give credit where it was due, the newbie got better.[break][break]

Though with Razz keeping the mythic's attention Salem comes into the scene. the Pokerus infected pokemon coming from behind before unleashing a PSYCHIC attack on the other to bash them away from his trainer. Ears even opening up to unleashed more of its power as his true eyes open up for a moment to attack. [break][break]

Meanwhile to counter the Blastois Yellow gets in the way countering the HYDRO PUMP with a STEEL BEAM to have both attacks cancel each other out. While Pitch goes in close to attack up close with an ASSURANCE as it slams into the hard shell pokemon.

A clash of power happens and thankfully it's the Bisharps that come out on top knocking back the Blastoise as it seemed to have moved itself in a 'bad angle.' Smart, though it seems like their acting was enough as the people who chose to stay were in awe at the battle. Razz makes a quick call that he'll need some aid before he goes over to where Rowan was calling out a pokemon to use STRING SHOT on the 'Rocket BEAST' before he goes over to lift him up and leaning in close to whisper a "good job," before leaning back and telling the Rocket his rights for the crowd. [break][break]

"So are you going to make this simple or do you still plan to fight?" Razz questions more for formality than anything else already in the background officers were finally coming to the scene.

Hopefully the other didn't mind the String Shot too much. It wasn't like he was an officer so carrying cuff wasn't something he did naturally so of course he wasn't going to do so now. Would feel too much like a set up because hey why would he be carrying them in the first place when he beat the Beast?[break][break]

The crowd seems to be in awe as it all happens, Officers finally arriving on the scene as Rowan curses him out and Razz allowing the officers to take Rowan themselves. Using his pull with AQUA to make sure he was sent to the right people especially considering the other was a Rocket Beast. And now the first part of his job was done, now hopefully Rowan wouldn't come to regret keeping his current identity rather than take his offer for a new.
