Nothing like the countryside to really bring the best out of a girl! Genny loved it! Sure, it was close enough away from Mauville to call it the outskirts of the city, but nothing beats the wide-open prarie and the ranches! Even for an Alola islander like her, she really did love it out here.[break][break]

With a stretch, she would look down towards a pup that had been constantly with her. A Growlithe, who she had received recently and never let go of. She named him Zagreus, though honestly she figured he'd probably like Cerberus more. The little fire hound would give a playful bark, as she leaned down to ruffle his fur.[break][break]

"Whose a good boy? Yes you are, yes you are!" The Growlithe was loving the attention. What better way to show his chops but on a farm, where Growlithes were at their best and most proudest?[break][break]

The ranch itself, a small one off the beaten path of Route 117, was beautiful in its meadows. The Wooloo would happily be eating the grass, with a pen for even Ponyta themselves, one of which Genny admits she was eyeing. There were some Tauros too, walking around with their gentle moos. The job today was a simple one; protect this place from predators and potential Pokemon traffickers. Today, on recon, she had a partner![break][break]

When Genny would stop ruffling his fur, and giving hims scritches, she looked about the place, in her Ranger attire no less. "Alright, Zag. We're looking for a Ms. Elise Kurokawa! Eyes peeled!" She points at the Growlithe, who responds in a signature bark again. Genny smiles wide, ear-to-ear.[break][break]

Now, to wait for her recon partner.[break]

Her Meowscarada would lead the way to the farm around Route 117 where the countryside was different than what she had been raised in the city though the male grass type would point to an orange haired woman in the bit of distance and her canine near the farm area as he would run over to reach them. She would catch up to her Pokemon and give him a sigh before giving the other woman a small smile.[break][break]

“I am here now, Miss Cromwell. We are to keep the farm safe from unsavory people, yes? Zorro should be a bit strong enough to help keep them away from the livestock.” The purple-haired woman spoke while the Meowscarada mewed his gretting to the small fire dog.

There she is! Genny's smile widens a great deal when Elise approaches her. The quaint Pokemon Ranger finds herself placing both hands on her hips as she grins, with little Zag giving the Meowscarada a bark in response. "Well, hello Ms. Kurokawa. Pleasure having you around these parts!" She giggles, enjoying her shifting dialect. It's completely fine to have that country tone, even if she's just roleplaying it a little.[break][break]

Always did want to be one of the equestrian girls with a Mudsdale when she was just a little girl. Alola wasn't exactly the place for that, so instead she got to be a beach girl most her life.[break][break]

Still, now, she could make-up for it! "That's the long and short of it! We're stopping predators from eating the livestock, or potential poachers. Ain't no one getting by on Zorro's watch." The Growlithe barks, and she giggles again, running a hand on his head. "Or Zagreus' watch!" The Growlithe's tongue flops out.[break][break]

And that's when the farmer nearby begins calling out. "HELP! MY WOOLOO!" Nearby, as Genny turns her head, a trio of Araquanid had begun trapping the Wooloo, and dragging them off. Genny begins to make a sigh.[break][break]

"No rest for the wicked! Ready to go, Ms. Kurokawa? Let's see what Zorro can do!" As she calls out, she turns towards the three bubble aracnid, with Zagreus giving growls at the ready.[break][break]

“I’m with you on that, thank you for the briefing on this mission.” She replied to the red-haired woman with a small nod before hearing the farmer’s voice cry out for help. To the direction of the farmer’s plea for their help, three wild Araquanids were attacking the helpless Wooloo. With the help of the other woman’s Growlithe, working as a team to clear out the threat of the bug Pokemon was going to be an easy job![break][break]

As Miss Cromwell asked if Elise was ready to go and there would be no rest for the wicked, the woman gave the redhead a firm nod. “Yes, we’re very much ready to save those livestock from being threatened.” On his trainer’s words of being ready to start, the male Meowscarada would dash forward to the third Araquanid, throwing a Seed Bomb to attack and distracting the water type spider with exploding seeds from attacking one of the Wooloo.

Both women were ready to roll out, and with a big hearty grin, racing together with Zagreus the Growlithe, and Zorro the Meowscarada, the duo begins to tear into the Araquanid forces. The Seed Bomb hits the first Aracquanid, the bubble popping as it is being distracted, a chittering noise of discontent as it eyes angrily to the cat-tacker. In response, the Araquanid hit attempts a LEECH LIFE on Zorro.[break][break]

Genny points out herself. "Same one, Zag, Flare Blitz through it to block!" The Growlithe lights in flame for the FLARE BLITZ, jumping in the way of the Meowscarada to get hit with the ineffective Leech Life on him, smacking the spider in the head.[break][break]

The other two Araquanid realize what's going on, and both fire out at the Growlithe with a double BUBBLE BEAM, aiming right for the dog. It would be super effective if it hit.[break][break]

Of course, just as pressing though, the Wooloo in the bubbles. They need air, and fast.
