She doesn't get a good look at the Rocket operatives, but Angelo's reaction is hint enough that something's not quite right - bullet hole aside.

Suspicions don't get enough time to coalesce into realization. They're pushed aside by the need to see this mission through because water's rushing in and steel's groaning in the ship's last farewells before it departs into the hungry depths.

It's a shipwreck in the making - and the Rockets know it too.

"Thanks for the spoils." Despite the shock of agony pulsing outwards from her shoulder, moonlit smugness snags on the edge of a grin. After all, Nautica could as easily gather riches from the bottom of the ocean as they could from its surface.

Regardless of what little they could salvage now, the rest would still find its way to Skyler and Angelo's greedy hands. Maybe the League's - if they were feeling generous.

Skyler uses Decidueye's explosions as cover, bitting down on a curse as the movement coats her shirt with a new layer of blood. But then Angelo's in front of her, and she's grabbing his shoulder. "We should go, Angel. Unless you fancy a Kyogre ride to the surface."

She isn't sure whether it's the ship or her vision that's tilting dangerously. Probably both. 

"And also, can you get this fucking bullet out of my shoulder? It kinda hurts." 

Understatement of the century, especially when she leans too much of her weight against him in lieu of holding herself up. Blood loss will do that to you - but it doesn't prove enough to erase the satisfaction from welling in her chest.
