Kaname should’ve been done, but the prospect of one more pokemon didn’t seem so bad. Especially since it was a Butterfree; he knew that the bug/flying type could learn useful moves, like Sleep Powder, and that made it valuable for research purposes. “Orbeetle, use hypnosis on the Butterfree.”[break][break]

The seven spots on his Orbeetle’s elytra flashed in an incomprehensible pattern as it broadcast a simple psychic suggestion to the Butterfree: sleep. Kaname could tell that the butterfly pokemon was doing his best to resist the subliminal suggestion, but it was no match for the might of Kaname’s Orbeetle. Butterfree eventually drifted to the ground and lost itself to sleep; giving Kaname the chance to hurl a pokeball at it in an attempt to catch it.[break][break]
