The comm taken from Elinor Anderson had crackled in his ear as he moved. Tired and wounded. It was time to retreat. Time to find Cillian Quinn and see how the conquest of Rocket had fared[break][break]

But then he had heard something that made his blood run cold.[break][break]

Then it had flared hot and angry and full of hate. Whatever exhaustion had overtaken him was shaken off as adrenaline surged; a second wind taking him over as he ran for the battle. [break][break]

Heads roll. [break][break]

In the most literal sense. The unnamed officers and their pathetic canines were not a suitable match for Temp, his pokemon, or the pure hated surging through his body. Ice Shards from a Glaceon slit throats. An Ariel Ace cut heads from their body. The black flames of a Shadow Fire burned over those foolish enough to stand between him and his goal. [break][break]

Bongo, his Zarude, landed next to Cillian Quinn as he struggled and fell. The Leaf Blade cut into black fur. A Jungle Healing surrounded them all, knitting together broken skin. [break][break]

Temp grasped Cillian Quinn by the shoulder, too hard. Jerked him to his feet. For now he did not fear the reprocessions of sudden touch; Gavin was too weak to do much. [break][break]

"Get the fuck out of here." Growled out. Harsh. An order. It hung in the air as if to suggest it had better be followed, to. [break][break]

But Temp only had eyes for Razz Kingsman right now. [break][break]

Cracking his knuckles, Temp stalked forward with his pokemon flanking him. The Shadow Fire burned behind, darkening him in Shadow. Pure malice wafted from his person. [break][break]

"Get the fuck away from my husband!"

Defensive instincts kick in as Salem could pick up a familiar murderous intent as his eyes glow and with a cry the cat brings up a SPIKEY SHIELD round Razz and the few officers around him. Protecting them from the ICE SHARDS and being bodied from the AERIAL ACE.

In front of them Razz takes in the scene of apparently Gavin's husband, when the hell did he get married? Came to help him. With battle after battle Razz was starting to run low on his main aces but at least he still had a few tricks up his sleeve. The young ranger calls for his Litwick and what appeared to to a Cyclizar as Sable used her ILLUSION as the 'dragon' growled she used SNARL on all her opponents in order to weaken their attacks for the future, while Razz struck his own Litwick with a fireball of his own to power up the candle pokemon for this fight. It's FLASH FIRE strengthen it rather than it being hurt by his trainer. [break][break]

"Either try for the underboss or save who you can, we'll take care of things here," Razz tells the officers quietly as his focus is only on Temp, recognizing the old Gym Leader. Seems like their good nature was only a lie if this is where they found themselves now. "And if I don't?" Razz counters wanting to keep their anger focused on him, two of the men trying what they could to help those fallen while one seemed to retreat, planning to take another course to go and find the underboss to be their new 'cargo'

It is hissed, low and threatening, from his lips. If Razz Kingsman still had his ability to tell lies from the truth active?[break][break]

The once kind, if quirky, Gym Leader had been loved into being a killer.[break][break]

"Agni."[break][break]

The Flareon perked up her ears then darted backwards. A Protect was brought around Cillian Quinn. She would work to keep the League trainers and pokemon off the man until he could escape properly.[break][break]

A click of the tongue. One that Razz Kingsman might even recognize. But it led to the Kabutops shaking her plating; a storm swirled overhead, cascading harsh rains down. It didn't diminish the flames burning behind him; the Shadow Fire couldn't be put out by water alone.[break][break]

The Glaceon glowed briefly, before a Snarl of his own rang over the battlefield. What one could do, so could another.[break][break]

The Zarude was last. A surge of wind picked up around the area, a Springtide Storm being launched at Razz Kingsman and his pokemon.[break][break]

But Temp wasn't quite done. Rocket doesn't play fair. Razz should know this.[break][break]

A pokeball is tossed, an old and chipped Luxury ball. Out comes a Figarigaf- Compass shakes her head and narrows her eyes down at her enemies. Unlike most of Temp's other pokemon, this one is fresh. She's not seen battle today. Saved for something special. Fresh.[break][break]

She sets up a Reflect around the field.

And just like that Rocket has corrupted another, honestly he shouldn't be surprised at this point. It feels like as hard as he tries to get some people out more just keep joining. Some with promise of power, others with the promise of something better. For the ex-Gym Leader? Who knew some delusional type of love it seemed if the whole 'husband' thing was to be believed. [break][break]

Though it seems Gavin taught him a few new tricks as he whistles and the RAIN DANCE starts and the other pokemon do their attacks as well. To counter the SPRINGTIDE STORM Alabaster comes into the mix using his FIRE SPIN to collide with the attack to create a fiery tornado between both parties. Behind the scenes Salem giving his party a HELPING HAND to power up all of them. [break][break]

Meanwhile the 'Cyclizar' growls as it uses BITTER MALICE against the newly summoned Figarigaf. [break][break]

Without needing an order Zinc already knows who their new target is going to be as it aims it's AERIAL ACE against the large monkey pokemon. Knowing that for the moment it was the best thing against the mythical pokemon. Let the others handle the standard. One thing for sure was Razz had no intention to make this easy for the other other.

Salem might try and use the Helping Hand. But Compass is ready. Her body glows, the 'helmet' of her second head snapping closed; the effect nullified. One of her abilities, Armor Tail, prevented Priority Moves from her opponents. Salem would have to find another way to help out his teammates.[break][break]

The Fire Spin sizzled in the rain but still helped to nullify the Springtide Storm. It didn't seem to stop Bongo, nor did the slash of the Kartakana. Blood seeped from the wound, the thick slice oozing from the force.[break][break]

Bongo cared little, shrieking again in the face of the Ultra Beast. Instead he tried to smash it with his meaty paw in return; a Drain Punch.[break][break]

"Compass!"" Temp bellowed, confident in his order. His voice was icy and cold even as Hate burned savagely in his eyes. Razz Kingsman has pushed him over some type of edge. The giraffe pokemon's ears flicked before her whole body shone brightly. A black crystal coating her body. She soaked in the Bitter Malice, not having a chance to dodge, but her new state seemed to make it do less than one might expect.[break][break]

She opened her mouth, a powerful Tera Blast shot at the 'Cyclizar'. Temp didn't know what fuck it was to start, so may as well blast the shit out of it.[break][break]

There was one last pokemon on Temp's side who had yet to attack. The Kabutops vibrated again before darting forward with a great speed. The Swift Swim boosted her speed, allowing her to dance around the battlefield. Water gathered around her until she was a living arrow of water, empowered by the rain overhead. She attempted to slam into the Litwick. And if Razz got in the way? Well, all the better for Temp.

Despite the other's ARMOR TAIL ability the HELPING HAND is enough to give his partners that little extra boost despite the rain putting them on the disadvantage. Salem deciding it might be best to help his own team in the same way is it uses ROLE PLAY in order to copy the ARMOR TAIL agility as his disguise was already used up. [break][break]

The DRAIN PUNCH hits and while it hurts Zinc has no will to go down. With it's attacks boosted with it's previous victories with BEAST BOOST it tries to give a harsh hit with its SACRED SWORD into the large dark monkey. [break][break]

The TERRA BLAST hits and the ILLUSION breaks, while still hurt Sable takes off the hit for now as she still tries to by attention and time. Now with her full self revealed once more she does what she can as a whole to break down the special power of the other's pokemon with another SNARL. Believing it is what's been helping in such attacks not hitting as hard. [break][break]

"Anytime now," Razz mutters to through his communications hoping to hear an answer soon as him and his pokemon tried to by time and hold off the other. Though admittedly his head not fully in the battle due to his earlier headache thanks to Cillian Quinn. But as the Kabutobs gets close and collides into his Litwick Razz is already on the move. Flame in hand, despite the rain, as he strikes at the shellfish pokemon. Didn't matter if fire wasn't very effective, the Ranger was going for the burn so that Alabaster could follow through with HEX[break][break]

The strikes that Razz Kingsman delivers are rough. It's hard, since Temp's pokemon, aside from Compass, were already exhausted. But he had been saving one special thing. He hoped it would give him the upper hand.[break][break]

"Bongo! Jungle Wrath!" Bellowed. The Zarude pants, that hit having hit hard... but then it's eyes glow green. The Z-Energy erupts from the Zarude with a shriek. Long tendrils of vines bloom from the ground, seeking out and grabbing every enemy on the battlefield. It would even reach for people- in this case Razz. The vines aimed to bind and squeeze.[break][break]

With that done, Bongo surged forward to scratch and bite and claw at the Karatana that had caused him so much misery.[break][break]

summons vines in an AOE around itself to bind targets. afterward, it selects one bound enemy to ravage.

Temp charged forward himself. Not his pokemon. He darted through the chaos, fist raised.[break][break]

All in the aim of slamming his fist as hard as he could against Razz Kingsman's face. If the other's pokemon didn't help him, didn't block Temp or get him away, Temp would not stop hitting until Razz was nothing but a bloody pulp. Pure Hatred was in his eyes.[break][break]

His pokemon also took advantage of the situation. The Shadow Glaceon showed his colors, unleashing a Shadow Frost. Black, corrupted ice streamed from his mouth at the strange Zoroark.[break][break]

Compass bounds towards Salem, intending to slam into the feline with a Thief. If she was lucky, she might even steal something the cat had a hold of.[break][break]

Finally, even more powered up thanks to her Swift Swim, the Kabutops stomped the ground. A spike of earth from her Stone Edge aimed at the Litwick.

When the Z-move is called and one by one his pokemon are getting grabbed he knows things are looking worse for ware. All of his pokemon were grabbed and sadly its Zinc who took most of the damage from it. While resistant its been fighting for took long, and it was worn out. And after the thrashing it had FEINTED. [break][break]

As for his Litwick admittedly he wasn't trained for battle as well as the others. There out of desperation as the line was running out so as the STONE EDGE hits he is knocked back and knocked out as well. [break][break]

For Sable she was more used to the battle field and while the ice attack hurt, the snarl from earlier helps her live through it. Least the ice does something besides strike and freezes up the vines just enough for her to escape from the vines before she would try once more to attack with a BITTER MALICE.[break][break]

While Razz was busy trying to free himself from the vines that had entrapped him he is caught off guard by the older Rocket as he tackles him and begins to strike. Over and over, and had he not been trained in a war Razz might have been done for there. Though before he could even do anything seeing his trainer get hurt in such a way seemed to set off Salem. Despite the attack from the Faragiraf it wasn't enough to stop him, nor could they get anything as the cat didn't hold anything on him. [break][break]

Eyes glowing as he used his psychic abilities to free himself, the Pokerus giving him that extra boost ears open up to reveal the Meowstic's true eyes as it would use SPRINGTIDE STORM against his foes, pokemon and trainer alike. From there Razz would try and use the distraction to bring out one more pokemon. His Zeraora as Razz gives a whistle. [break][break]

Electricity charges the pokemon as they glow with energy as it launches it's fist at the KABUTOS, and hopefully aligned itself with the enemies past it, before launching a GIGAVOLT HAVOC [break][break]

Pokemon fall.[break][break]

Both on Razz Kingsman's side and Temp's. His Kabutops can not take anymore. Neither can his Glaceon. They hit the ground.[break][break]

Temp doesn't notice at first, too busy trying to beat the shit out of Razz.[break][break]

The Springtide Storm from the Meowstic makes him grit his teeth and grunt as it strikes him. Temp is flung back from the force of it, back to his side of the field.[break][break]

The Gigavolt is headed right for the Kabutops. The fainted kabutops. It will kill her.[break][break]

But Compass acts fact. An Ally Switch sees her swapping placed with her fainted ally. Yet that means the powerful Z-move is not being launched at her instead. She tried to stand strong- but without a chance to prepare it may also kill her.[break][break]

The powerful electric move flies through flesh.[break][break]

A Mr. Mime stands between Compass and the Zeraora. The attack still lands, still hit Compass and causes her to shriek. But it is reduced. Due to the Mr. Mime being punched clean through the chest.[break][break]

Temp pushes him to his feet and groans. The pokeball of the Mr. Mime is dropped on the ground. He doesn't care about it. Pokemon were just tools for Rocket, after all.[break][break]

He licks his lips and spits out blood.[break][break]

They needed to end this quickly.[break][break]

A sudden and sharp whistle leaves him.[break][break]

Retreat.[break][break]

But Temp doesn't count this as some loss.[break][break]

Cillian Quinn had gotten away, after all.
