The question being posed to the gym trainer of Mauville City was about a person who was trying to become a better person. This hypothetical person had done a lot of bad things in the past, but they were trying to change. To her, this was someone who wanted to change and had a reason to do so which wasn’t a bad thing to do even if they had done something bad. The League itself was always welcoming to people who had turned over a new leaf from whatever crimes they might commit.[break][break]

“I…don’t think it’s inherently bad that they’re trying to change from their mistakes. If they are willing to, I don’t see why we would not accept them for what they’re doing to better themselves for their own sake.” Her response to the smaller child came with a warm tone.
