Hearing what he said he nodded before speaking up since it wasn’t like the other would see it. ”That’s probably what I’ll do. When I can get time to spare anyway. I’ll probably make time since my aunt has been trying to get me to take some time away from the restaurant. She’d say this excursion doesn’t count as time off of work since I’m getting stuff for the restaurant,” he would the younger teen.

He supposed his aunt did have a point though. Getting stuff for the restaurant couldn’t really be considered a break from work. Nope that would have to him not doing anything that had to do with the restaurant when he was out and about. Or if he’d just decided to stay home to relax.

Luxray are cool Pokémon as well,” he agreed. ”I’ve always been drawn towards Manectric though. That’s not to say I don’t love my current Pokémon. The Pokémon I do have are like family,” he commented, his tone fond when he spoke about his Pokémon.

The subject moved back onto food, their original purpose for coming here. ”Yeah they really are,” he agreed. However with the more they tacked on to what they would get he was seeing a problem. And was carrying everything. They were liable to drop something if they tried carrying everything in their arms. Especially the smaller things.

”Well if that’s everything you want I think the next order of business should be to get a basket,” he stated hoping he would’ve realized himself how much work it would be to try and carry all of that without dropping everything. Even if he did have a Pokémon to help him.

He knew that Hideo would’ve gotten what he was referring to without having to spell it out. After all he figuring being blind himself he had had to deal with it at least once. ”Yeah almost had a panic attack the first time it happened though,” he admitted wincing slightly.[break] Hideo Kino

”Yeah I think of it like cooking. You practice cooking to get better so as long as I keep trying or I suppose I should say start trying to catch Pokémon I’ll get better. I’m pretty good at navigating around my home without an aid of a cane,” he told the younger teen. So he’d gotten the hang of navigating blind when it didn’t come to catching Pokémon.

He didn’t sound that old. Had he gotten Pokémon before he was ten. ”You got Pokémon before you were ten?” he inquired turning his face towards the younger male. His own parents hadn’t allowed him to get a Pokémon until he was ten. Then he had immediately been expected to start his journey and go on the gym circuit.

If it hadn’t been for Hideo he probably would’ve started that way. It didn’t take long for Hideo’s Beheeyem to return and for a basket to land in his arms. ”Thank you,” he said as he put the flour in the basket. What Hideo said wasn’t to surprising. Yuki could sometimes be like that. She seemed to think he needed to be covered up even when it was really hot at night.

Yeah he knew it would. And for the most part he was use to it. He was more use to his blindness than he was when it came to his sisters death. ”For the most part I’m use to it. I think since it wasn’t the worse thing I was going through at the time it was easier for me to get use to it.”[break] Hideo Kino

Yeah it was like that saying practice makes perfect. The more you practiced something that better you would be at doing the thing you had practiced. It just took patience to get it right. He had just kept trying into he got it ride, after all he hadn’t wanted to have to depend on anyone else.

”The way I was brought it was that things aren’t just going to be given to you. You have to fight for what you want. Because of that I’m an independent person. I didn’t want to have to depend on others, so I guess I had motivation to get the hang of it as quickly as possible,” he explained thinking of how his parents had basically pushed him to succeed before his sister had gotten sick.

The idea of getting Pokémon before the age of ten was still a foreign concept to him. ”My parents always told me when they were kids kids didn’t get Pokémon until they were at least ten. And that if it had been that way for them it had to be that way for me,” he told him with a small shrug. It was just what his parents had always told him when he had inquired about getting a Pokémon before the age of ten.

So a gift mixup had been the reason he had gotten so many Pokémon before the age of ten. ”Don’t worry my lips are sealed,” he promised. ”Sounds like you have some good Pokémon. My own are pretty protective too. I think that goes for more Pokémon when it comes to their trainers though.

As they walked picking up the items they needed he listened to what the younger teen said. ”I think not managing would’ve been no better than living in the past,” he commented.[break] Hideo Kino

The fact Hideo trailed off made him curious but he just kept his question to himself. As the younger teen continued he had a feeling that wasn’t what he had been about to say. But he decided just to go along with it. Besides everyone deserved to have their secrets. And if he had secrets then he was fine with him keeping them.

”I did the gym circuit back in Unova but I didn’t complete it,” he admitted with a small frown. ”I wasn’t in the right mind set to complete the gym challenge. I kind of just threw myself into cooking instead. I suppose I could look into getting back into taking on the gyms here but I do have the restaurant to think about, so I don’t know how something like that would work out.”

Though he would skip the whole camping thing if he did decide to do that. He would just return home each time. He did have a day off every week, so perhaps he could look into doing it then. It would take him awhile, but he would still be doing it. And he doubted it mattered how long someone took.

The younger teens voice pulled him from his thoughts and he nodded, despite it being unnecessary, before speaking. ”I’ve never heard anyone getting Pokémon so early. Then again before I started my Pokémon journey I didn’t really interact with anyone. I much preferred keeping to myself,” he admitted, knowing he wasn’t as unsocial as he was back then.

What he said made sense. ”True that usually pertains to Pokémon you haven’t had for long. The longer you’ve had them the more obedient they usually are. Though some just have a disposition that make them hard to control. But if you’re a good enough trainer you can make even the rowdiest of Pokémon fall in line.”

The basket was getting pretty heavy and he considered checking out soon. As if reading his mind the younger teen brought up the items they had obtained. Before he could speak his phone vibrated in his pocket allowing him to know he was getting a phone call. ”Hold on a minute,” he said fishing his phone out of his pocket before answering it.

He was on the phone for maybe five minutes before hanging out. ”I think you have plenty, I’m afraid I must be going now though. My aunt set me up to give someone cooking lessons and I must prepare for that. It was nice talking to you though,” he said before walking off to check out.[break] Hideo Kino
