He leans back in his chair, stroking his chin. Thinking. The wheels in his head are turning, entertaining how he would cull the casualties in Dewford.[break][break]
Tell them no. Turn them away. Is his first instinct. That would keep the unprepared and the uninitiated away…or drive them to show up anyway, just to spite the League.[break][break]
“Mandatory classes on basic field tactics, first aid, stuff like that. Not quite like a gym, nothin’ that’d matter if Rocket knew we do it, but something. Make ‘em take those classes if they want to be considered eligible to volunteer.” A dry laugh escapes his lips. “Crazy that so much weird shi- crap happens here. Someone could make a career out of being a volunteer in emergencies.”[break][break]

From there, conversation continued, flowing back and forth like the pull of waves. What was once a budding suggestion became the foundations of a new hero's journey. A charge for change. A new age for the league, and hoenn alike.
