In a way, Shalin was glad she only had two show days left while the carnival was in Rustboro. She loved what she did in her performance, but every day she did her shows, she was completely exhausted afterward, not getting to enjoy the carnival as much as she would have liked. It was attracting large crowds, though, and the large city in Hoenn's northwest was no exception. Word had spread throughout Hoenn of the alien feats her Sygna Suit let her perform; it was well worth the price of admission to see.

Though there were no wings sprouting from her suit, she looked every bit like a Flygon-human fusion otherwise. Standing in front of her three Pokémon, a Shiny Beedrill, a Kommo-o, and the Flygon she was synced with, she took a bow before the audience. In the front row was Lathiel, her Type: Null, who looked like she just wanted the show to be over with, having seen it many times throughout the month.

"Let's show them the power of a Sygna Suit, Queen Zing!" Shalin chieped. She walked toward one of Queen Zing's wings, the bug-type having lowered them as close to the ground as she could. The green Beedrill raised them not long after Shalin stood above the one on her right. At the same time the bug-type lifted her off the ground, the trainer's legs dangling from the sides of the wing, a faint, green glow spread from Shalin's suit and the Flygon's SYNC STONE. The blue-eyed wasp stretched, spreading her wings and giving Shalin one last chance to brace herself.

Queen Zing began to flutter her large, translucent wings, Shalin sounding a joyous scream drowned out by the loud drone that she had warned her audience to put the earplugs in for. As they buzzed louder and faster, Shalin disappeared into a streak of green light, the glow representing their Sygna bond getting brighter and brighter. She let out another joyous cry as the wingbeat rate, and the intensity of the glow, peaked.

Camellia sat in the audience, her ears plugged given the warning that the performer had given to the crowd moments before. Her hearing was quite important to her work. It'd be quite a shame to lose it.[break][break]

She could see that the trainer was speaking to her Pokemon, and while she was good at reading lips, she was too far to make out what exactly she was saying to them. This was supposed to be a show about this Shalin Nariya's SYGNA SUIT, wasn't it?[break][break]

Wouldn't it be thrilling to see something like that fail?[break][break]

However, she sat back and watched as the woman turned a bright green, having to shield her eyes as the streak grew brighter.[break][break]

As impressive as the run-up was, what blew the crowd's minds more was when the Beedrill's wings slowed to a stop. Shalin was inexplicably still seated on it, despite the wing she sat on having just moved invisibly fast. The wasp was constantly adjusting its wing angle to keep Shalin from tumbling off while she regained her senses. Her suit had to be something amazing to let her survive the beyond sickening motion!

Once she slid off her Beedrill's wing, the green glow ceased completely. Next, she waved for her Kommo-o to take his turn. Treble stood next to her, the girl mounting up. Moving like a bipedal dinosaur, the Alolan dragon-type rest his fists against three sizable pieces of increasingly hard rock. "And that's just one possibility of what a Sygna Suit can do!" she started to explain after signaling the others that they could temporarily remove their earplugs. "As long as the strong bond is there, as well as the ability to craft a Sync Stone from Crystabloom, and a lot of practice, anything is possible!" Though it was clear from the glow that Flygon was the bonded Pokémon, Sandy was able to impart Shalin with enough of her strength to perform daring feats with other Pokémon, too.

She warned the crowd to put their earplugs back in, doing so herself shortly afterward. Treble began to build up power, his scales beginning to hum and clash with powerful vibration that made Shalin's hair stand on end beneath her suit.

Camellia removed the ear plugs as the trainer waved them down to do so. She seemed very enthusiastic about her suit. But she began to wonder... would this SYGNA SUIT have its uses elsewhere?[break][break]

Sure, this was just a performance, a show of flashing lights and strength. But, if she managed to get one of her own, she wondered how much it might be able to help her in jobs like killing.[break][break]

Placing the plugs back in her ear, Camellia waved down an attendant serving snacks, deciding to get some popcorn to munch on as the show continued.[break][break]

The temptation of a SYGNA SUIT of her own gnawed in her mind.

The scaled dragon was presented with three large blocks of increasingly hard material. What did she have planned? "Now this won't be quite as loud as with the Beedrill, but you'll want to put your earplugs back in." Treble rest his fists on the softest block's surface, Shalin's hair standing on end as she felt the scales beneath her begin to shake and hum from him building up power. He released the energy into a maddening cacophony of humming and CLANGING SCALES.

While Shalin was more than a mere streak of light, her features were difficult to identify while she was being shaken around like a rattlesnake's tail. Treble ground the first block of material to dust, then the second, then the third, the rumbling getting louder and more intense each time. For once, the Type: Null looked impressed, seeing Shalin somehow keep her balance despite the incredible feedback rocking her. There was a reason the stage was so elevated; if it was ground level, some of those shockwaves would have rippled through observers!
