Scouting above the area, this was his domain, of course there were those that had armies by the sea. There were others that could claim domain of the land, but in the skies Amor reigned supreme. There were no foes that he found to be his equal on this playing field. Even though he was on the back of his most volatile dragon, Destrus, the prehistoric dragon had slowly come to listen to him, if only because Draco had pulverized it into submission. Dragon's didn't argue when someone was stronger than them, and Draco was stronger than all of his others by far. Amor had trained his Dragonite to be the best, and so far he hadn't been let down.

Which is why when Destrus suddenly swerved upward, Seraphim almost yelled out in surprise, but that is when he saw his opponent. Someone that was trying to take the skies from him. A robotic laugh would echo amongst the clouds.

"We meet again....What you didn't have enough of me back in Deep Sea?" However even at the end of his quip, Destrus moved to attack his doppleganger with a Breaking Swipe of his own. However this was simply a prelude, something to get their appetites whetted. After this, the curtain would rise, and Destrus would finally have a chance to unleash all of his pent up aggression on this thing wearing his face!

Michael Navidson

"You wish I was just a goon...." He snarks back as the two dragons collide, and they are forced apart by the sheer power they each possess.

"Maybe you will provide me with a bit more sport than all the others...." At that Destrus wrapped itself in a cloak of draconic aura. Michael Navidson would recognize this as Dragon Dance, and then the pair would rush at their opponents. Destrus's claws elongated into purple energy as it attempted to carve into it's enemy with a Dragon Claw. Of course Amor already knew the answer to that.

Michael Navidson was one of the few challengers that Amor had respect for at least in terms of strength. So if they were going ot clash here, then Amor was definitely going to have to actually try, he wouldn't get by with just phoning it. Which was good because it would provide him with more data....At the end of the day that was the most important thing to Amor, data. How did someone fight? What pokemon did they value? What moves did their pokemon know? These were all valuable things to know, because even if you lost the first bout, as long as you were not ignorant, you could decimate them in the second round.

"More where that came from? You mean more disappointment?" Amor snarked back...

Two Dragons trying to measure was nothing new, but Amor listened to the man, and frowned a little bit. Mr. Navidson was a sharp one, it was part of the reason why Amor enjoyed fighting him. Of course Amor would never kill him, that would end one of the few challengers that he actively enjoyed sparring with, even if it was to the death.

The crown of iron comes fast for Destrus, and the two primal dragons clash, and send each other backwards in the sky. Another roar escapes his primordial beast.

"A lot of people, and pokemon have died....But whose fault is it? The Leagues? Rockets? Individuals? If it makes you feel a little better I've not killed anyone, or their pokemon yet...." Nor did he plan to unless he was absolutely forced with no alternate choice. Killing wasn't Amor's first choice, because it robbed him of a valuable resource. He preferred to utilize his resources, but when they no longer produced energy it was just not efficient.

"At the end of the day, none of it really matters. People will mourn, claim that they will do better next time, and then the cycle repeats itself. Such is the curse of hypocrisy...." Amor stated in his flat robotic tone.

Destrus on the other hand had no issue surging forward with a maw filled with flames, and attempted to use Fire Fang on Smaug. While it wouldn't deal much damage, the goal was to harry his opponent, and whittle them down if at all possible.

"It's a shame, sometimes the 'heroes' they prop up are just villains in disguise." The robotic man states as the throat chop lands squarely on his dragon, and they are forced away, held aloft by the powerfully built wings. Destrus roared hoarsely, but he wasn't deterred at all. "Though it's like the old adage states, it's the victors who write history...." A sad, but inevitable truth.

Though he was a bit surprised that the man didn't allow for backup to come, and aid him. This was a war after all, to use every advantage possible was only reasonable. Amor wouldn't think less of him for it, but this was also why he liked Michael Navidson. Tapping the comms built into his helmet.

"All Rockets....You are to prioritize other objectives....I don't need you getting in my way up here...." Of course he was sure that Cillian Quinn, or THEO BECKETT would berate him for playing "fairly", but Amor wanted a real test. Who was truly better between the two of them? In the Gym challenge Amor got an inkling of how strong he was, but it was a challenge....It was meant to test, it wasn't a no holds bar battle to the bitter end.

In his mind people showed who they truly were in moments of pure unadulterated rage, and anger....And when they were forced to survive from the brink of death. That is when who you were was revealed to you. Most people went their entire life without knowing who, or what they were.

"Show me who you are...." And with those words, Amor drew his sword. Destrus lunged forward with another Dragon Claw, and when they were within range, Amor swung his blade at the man on the other dragon.

Michael Navidson

His sword is parried by a Greninja, and Amor is amused a little bit, he hadn't ever fought a pokemon with his sword before....So this would be fun at the very least. So he began to continue to swipe at Michael Navidson. Aiming for his legs, and thighs the most when he was able. Anything that would make him lose his balance, but it was surely parried away by the Greninja. Pokemon like that....They were loyal to a fault, and Amor wouldn't attempt to try, and harm the Pokemon. For him this was just good sportsmanship, did that matter in a war? Not really, but that didn't mean he had to be vile just yet....

"No you don't....It's why I view you as an anomaly. Here you are a good man, fighting for wretched people....I said this before in the Deep Sea where we first met....You would be better off with us. At least you could use Rocket to cleanse the League, and then go back. It's a far more efficient tactic than just trying to change it from the inside." He explains to Navy.

Destrus shudders underneath him as the Breaking Swipe hits, but he retaliates with a Breaking Swipe of his own. The titanic sky clash of these prehistoric demons would've shaken the ground if they had been on it.

"But cold logic, isn't your forte is it Mr. Navidson....What happens when those you trust do betray you....It has happened before amongst the Leagues ranks....Betrayal upon beytrayal, what will you do when they keep piling up?" It was a sincere question, and Amor was eager to hear his answer.

"And your side needlessly threw away lives in a region they don't even have power in...." Death was death....Amor couldn't entirely empathize with the man across from him this time. It hadn't been the League, or Rocket who had killed those he loved. "Honestly who are the real monsters here...." Though he wouldn't fault the man for fighting for vengeance, it was what drove Amor as well.

"I suppose you put your trust in those that are 'honest', and I put mine in those who 'lie'....The problem is, you can always trust a liar to lie Mr. Navidson...." Take that as he would Destrus would begin to feel the effects of this prolonged battle in the sky, but he still flared his wings proudly, and Amor simply sheathed his sword. Fighting against a pokemon was pointless, Amor was just an ordinary human at the end of the day. He wasn't going to expect god to come out of nowhere to give him abilities to fight the very creatures that he tamed.

Destrus continued his attacks against his double, claws igniting with draconic energy as he attempted another Breaking Swipe.

"I would like to believe that you hold the line for good people....Sadly the selfsame people you protect allow mockeries of your entire set of ideals....I always ask this same question to all of you, and I've yet to get a real answer....How can you allow people to exist among your ranks that are arguably just as bad as my side supposedly is...." He folded his arms. "Do nothing about them because they hold a little power....And then preach about how you fight for whats right, while staring corruption right in the face? Because if it's just that they wield power....Then the League follows the selfsame might makes right rules that we do....And my entire point is proven a thousand times over." There would never be a real change in the League.

"So spare me your tragic backstory for when your side cohesively follows your ideals, and you've rooted out all the issues...." Because until then, they would not get a shred of pity.

There is a laugh that pierces the air, it's distorted, and doesn't sound human, but there is a laugh. Perhaps if it wasn't so distorted it might sound genuine. An answer....A genuine answer, and one from someone that might actually have the conviction to see it through. Someone who cared about the people....Someone that for a moment reminded Amor of him....Amor wondered if he had met this man before his defection, would he have changed his course? Would he have tried to change the organization from the inside, to stay on the side, and protect the people from those who were suppose to protect them.

Probably not....For as happy as he was....Words were cheap....When he saw it, when he saw the change he would believe it. The smile underneath his helmet though would shine through his distorted words.

"I like you....I look forward to seeing you put your money where your mouth is. I will be watching you with great interest after our battle here concludes. Don't let me down Mr. Navidson...." With that he releases another Pokemon. to fight against the hoard of Roaring Moon that just came in. Amor knows where they are, and he looks down at the distorted Galar....The memories there are fresh still....Those of his children, of that final battle....

"Awaken...." He gives the command as he holds up the Keystone embedded in his gauntlet, and it shines brightly as the Charizard he released begins to glow, and becomes darker in color, blue flames encasing it's tail, and spewing constantly from it's mouth. It needs no further direction as it's claws erupt in draconic fury, and it starts to hack away at their new enemies with Dragon Claw.

Amor had no need, or intention to attack the man while he was busy keeping the horde away. Destrus momentarily starts to sag, and Amor knows that his dragon is at it's limit.

"Rest...." He gives the command to his own Roaring Moon, before it can protest he recalls in a blink of red, and as he free falls another dragon replaces it. A Dragapult, and he rides upon his new ghostly steed. "I'll give you a chance to change partners, unless you wish to run him into the ground...."
