There’s questions. Questions for which he has no answer. What woke Eternatus up? That’s the main thing that concerns him. If it could happen once, it could happen again.[break][break]

If he remembers the good memories he must've made in those twenty years... the fact that they've been returned to the present instead of losing so much time away from those who must've been waiting for them here.[break][break]

Remaining true to himself is what she reckons to be his strongest point. If he doesn't like something, he'd make it as clear as possible. "There's not really much point thinking if you can be that person you were. Because that Galar is just different from the Hoenn we're living in, yeah? As long as you just... do what you believe in, your truest self is gonna be someone that won't regret the choices they've made."

She wishes that she could offer something to ease the ache of missing his family, but some part of her just knows that she will never be able to. Still, it won't keep her from trying, her hand briefly reaching to grab his and give it a quick squeeze.[break][break]

They've spent long enough in here, been giving their thoughts a little too much time to breathe. Anymore and they'll grow disillusioned with themselves. With a nod, she and Reiner take the first step into the distortion.
