After their meeting in Rustboro City’s Pokemon Center, there would be some time to set aside for both the ambassador and Ivy to travel together on Route 116. The shiny Indeedee would walk alongside her mistress while looking out for any other wild Pokemon that could come by their way. “This month is a little more cooler than the last, I thought I would melt from the heat.” She spoke to the other dark-haired woman while she adjusted her light jacket and a small scarf to keep herself warm from the cool air.[break][break]

“Now that the holiday of Halloween will be there around the corner, I’ll have to decorate my office in the embassy whenever I have free time.” A small chuckle comes from the royal ambassador when she watched the Indeedee scope ahead of them onto the little grassy path. She was glad to have someone to help with travel, judging by the fact that Ivy didn’t seem to be a bad persont to talk with from the initial rocky meeting.

Ivy parked her new bike at the edge of the Route, already waving towards Elise. She was happy to indeed see the other woman here, just as promised! Pewter, the newest addition to her team of Pokemon, barked loudly, and Ivy hoped he wouldn't startle Elise's party too much with his behavior...

She should definitely go to a dog school or something with him. She wanted to walk around in public without worrying about creating a commotion.

"I know, it's time to get my thicker clothes out again, or buy some new ones." As she talked, Ivy realized that retrieving those old clothes she spoke of would mean going to Rustboro again on another day. Maybe she could meet up with Elise then, too? Establish a habit of occasional talks, becoming friends..?

"How do you plan to decorate your office? I'd love to see it, if you want!"

Elise gives Ivy and her canine Pokemon a greeting wave as the other woman spoke. “You’ll probably be better off buying some newer ones if you don’t have any warm clothes for the cold.” The shiny female Indeedee hears the Maschiff bark and greets the little dog while watching a wild Bidoof come over towards the pair of humans and their Pokemon. Seeing it as a little threat, the blue female Indeedee attacks the Bidoof with a Psychic blast.[break][break]

Hearing Ivy ask the ambassador over what kind of decorations Elise would be getting for her office at the embassy, “There is a lot of decorations I’m considering for the lobby and my office, but I think the cobwebs, Spinarak and the little Zubats will be a perfect fit for the upcoming Halloween holiday.” Her reply came when Sayoko finishes battling the Bidoof with an Energy Ball to weaken it and steps back, so Elise tosses a Pokeball from her pack to catch the normal type.

Seeing Elise's companions stroll around, Ivy released her two Salandit and her newly caught Helioptile out of their Pokeballs as well. Sal and Sally, the Salandit, recognized some of Elise's Pokemon and approached them once more.

"Oh, do you mean plastic fake Spinarak and Zubats? Or do you have actual ones? How many do you have, if I'm allowed to ask?"

Hearing Ivy ask if the decorations were real Spinarak and Zubat or they were plastic ones, the female royal gives her reply with a little chuckle. “I’m using the plastic Zubat and Spinarak for the main decorations, so the real ones wouldn’t scare off any potential people looking for an appointment.” Along the path that they were walking on, the appearance of a wild Smeargle would have the female Indeedee jump to fending the normal type off with a Psychic blast. [break][break]

The Smeargle Sketched the same move from the shiny Indeedee before Sayoko finishes the Smeargle off with an Energy Ball. When the Smeargle collapses to the ground, Elise tosses a Pokeball from her pack to catch the fainted normal type.

Interpreting Elise's chuckle as being laughed at for a stupid question, Ivy felt belittled. But she knew it was just her own insecurity speaking. A projection onto someone who meant no real harm.

Before Ivy could think of a reply a wild Smeargly appeared. She watched in silence as Elise battled it, followed up with a catching attempt.

"I'm not sure what Pokemon I'm looking for. Maybe I should balance out my team more, I don't know..."

After the Smeargle gets caught and the ambassador picks up the Pokeball containing the normal type, it gets sent off in a flash of light to be stored off in a PC. The Galarian Ambassador swaps out her shiny Indeedee for her Zorua to get some fresh air and training since he would need it better than the trained psychic type could. “Are you looking for any specific Pokemon in mind? I sometimes try to go for a balanced team even if my type specialty is ghost types.” She spoke in a sympathetic way where much of the ambassador’s losses were taken from trying to put together a team covering each other’s weaknesses.[break][break]

A pair of psychic type Pokemon catches the Zorua’s attention as Kuro engages in a battle against an Espeon. A Night Daze makes the Espeon grunt in pain though the psychic type Eeveelution is faster to growl at the dark type fox. Kuro sends another Night Daze that Elise would toss a Pokeball at the wild Espeon with the red light sucking the psychic type Pokemon in.

Grabbing the wild Flittle - that Ivy had spotted - in it's jaw, Mabostiff made sure it couldn't run away. Though the view of him just holding this smaller Pokemon like a meal was bizarre, Ivy did throw a Pokeball at the Flittle, hoping for the best.

"I find Dark, Poison, Psychic, Fire, uh.. Fairy? I find those types really cool, but I mean, I don't want to stick to just one type."

“I think having other types of Pokemon can help with match ups. It’s a good start for people that train other Pokemon.” The ambassador replied to the other dark-haired woman with a nod. There some other trainers who preferred to train a specific type like those type specialists. Elise’s own team probably didn’t stand against trainers that held a balanced amount of six Pokemon with different typings. [break][break]

Kuro noted the presence of a Pikipek as the fox laughs mischievously and taunts the bird by shifting into a Pikipek himself before he sends a Night Daze to weaken the Pikpek. Since a certain bird loving friend of hers at Fortree would love another to add to his armada, Elise tosses a Dusk Ball from her pack to catch the wild Pikipek.

Iyy bent down to look at the Flittle she had caught. Luckily it had no injuries from the Mabostiff putting it in it's mouth unexpectedly like that.

Then, her attention was dragged somewhere else. She just managed to see it: Elise's Zorua transforming into a little bird. To see this type of transformation live! She wished she had recorded it, because before she could comprehend how it had worked it was already over and she was left staring, perplexed.

"Man, you caught a lot of wild ones today, didn't you? That's awesome!"
