Around the Halloween month, people had been enjoying giving out treats to children from their front doors of their homes while most would go out for costume parties. For the evening, she invited Aidan to stay over at her home for the reason that certain people were causing trouble around the holiday. Unlike what people would expect her home to be a mansion or something that a royal would live in, hers on the inside and out was a Victorian inspired house with both the wallpaper and carpetting being straight out of a movie from the Victorian era in Galar.[break][break]

Her shiny Indeedee and Polteageist in maid and butler uniforms sit with her in the drawing room while the dark magenta haired royal talks with the young man after setting down her book on the table for reading under the room's light. “I thank you for accompanying me in my abode, Aidan. To be honest…the fact that people are more likely to invade homes around the Halloween holiday worries me.” Extra security wouldn’t hurt given that he probably had done protection for people before.

Halloween had always come with a sense of dread, it was like having Vietnam flashbacks from his time at the academy. The simple idea of costumes, drinking and partying had always sent people into a frenzy, he was pretty sure if someone was to take their time and researched this phenomenon it would turn out to be a new form of lunacy.[break][break]

Despite his deep rooted hatred towards Halloween he was wearing a costume, he had to blend in after all. He wanted to look like a normal civilian spending the night at his very rich friend's house, very rich indeed. The decor was surely interesting, very different from the manses he was used to back in his Sinnoh days.[break][break]

"There's no need to thank me, I'm glad to be of help and have a good reason to stay way from the crowded places. People just go crazy when their identities are hidden." Truthfully, there was more to it than just people covering their masks but he thought that going into police statistics and numbers would do the two any good, numbers rarely were a good icebreaker.[break][break]

"So do you live here alone with your pokemon?" This was a question for security since if they happen to hear something he'd at least know it could have been someone else that worked in the mansion, but the question also came from a place of care. Living in such a place with only your pokemon could get lonely after some time.[break][break]

While Halloween was a time for all the younger trick-or-treaters to get their candy from houses, there were less than savory people that would cause trouble for the homeowners. “It is worrying that people cause problems for a holiday filled with the younger children getting their treats.” She responds with concern for the younger trick-or-treaters though she was sure their parents will protect them from very bad people. The shiny female Indeedee uses a little feather duster to dust off one of the wooden cabinets in the far left corner of the living room and begins to hum to herself. [break][break]

As Aidan asks if she lived here alone with her Pokemon, the royal ambassador shakes her head. “Oh no, my personal bodyguard lives with me in the home, but he is out on an errand now.” After a small moment of silence, a thud could be heard in the home. Thoughts of fear move into her mind though the royal tries to push them off. “Should we find out what was causing that noise?” Elise asks the grey-haired young man with a small look of concern while her shiny Polteageist butler warily watches the doorway.
