Though Nenet's expression remained composed, Zev noted the confusion and surprise her subtle actions conveyed. He'd spent so much time in her company recently that she became more and more like an open book to him.[break][break]

Nenet hums in acknowledgement while her fingertips idly bury in Jupiter's fur to feel the chubbiness beneath. Looking down at the Yamper, and then over to his brothers and sisters wagging curiously from their beds.

"Jupiter and Antigone stay here. The others can go," she decides after some thought. Her attention then turns back to Zev when he speaks again, pointing out that it isn't too late to learn.

She takes the poured sake to sip at, listening to Zev's observations. He wasn't wrong - her preferences for extreme levels of control wasn't something she found embarrassing. A long look over Zev's features confirmed he was neither lying nor flattering her, merely making an observation as to her character.

The thought of gritty pokemon battles was hardly appealing, but the idea of being thrown around like a ragdoll again while some unknown man stood above her was even less palatable. "Will you teach me," she requests, "and some of my pokemon?"

Zev inclined his head at each of Nenet's requests. He had no qualms if one of the Rockruff puppies remained a housepet while he trained her siblings into ruthless killing machines. Letting his wife have her little comforts was important to him, too.[break][break]

He reached over and gently grasped her hand in his, his thumb rubbing her knuckles with great affection. A pleased smile curled his lips. "Of course I will."[break][break]

With his other hand, he lifted the glass of sake to his lips and drank.
