Finishing up the small paperwork she was given on an appointment with an immigrant, the purple-haired royal takes her Masquerain out to the safari zone which made the hovering moth Pokemon happier to train with her. The humming of Senketsu’s wings were heard throughout their trip into a little mountain area of the safari zone where she sees a lake at the distance they were at. Going over to see the clear blue lake, the ambassador is reminded of the waters at the Lilycove beach though the lake waters were calmer than the ocean waters near Lilycove’s shores.[break][break]

Her Masquerain goes to hover over the water and happily looks at his own face’s reflection looking back at him.

The pair of ambassador and her Masquerain see a wild Stonjourner come up from the trail while the flying moth drains the life out of the wild Pokemon with Giga Drain. Feeling its life being drained from the Masquerain trying to protect his trainer, the rock type tries to attack the moth with Body Slam. Senketsu is able to move out of the Body Slam’s way and attacks with Giga Drain once more which makes the Stonjourner keel over while Elise tosses a Pokeball to catch the wild taller rocky Pokemon.

After the Stonjourner gets caught and the ambassador picks up the Pokeball for it to be sent away to her personal computer, one of the wild Pokemon that was watching the battle was a wild Baltoy. Senketsu blinks at the presence of the small Pokemon until the little psychic type begins to ask the moth if he wanted to spar a bit with it. Seeing the nod from the little clay Pokemon, the Masquerain starts with a Shadow Ball though his move was a bit too strong for the Baltoy to handle and Elise would toss a Pokeball from her pack to catch it. She feels terrible that her moth didn’t hold back on the little Baltoy’s part.

Senketsu takes a respite to rest near his trainer as he perches on her head until the presence of a wild Sigilyph makes the moth hover up from the ambassador’s head. They had gone to the little desert area after they had passed through the mountain area since the Sigilyph didn’t look happy that its territory was being threatened. A Shadow Ball from the male Masquerain makes the flying type screech in pain before the female Sigilyph’s eyes glow blue in throwing a Psychic blast towards the moth.[break][break]

Senketsu feels the Psychic hurt him though he damages the Sigilyph with another Shadow Ball that the psychic type lowers to the ground in a tired heap. The royal throws a Pokeball from her pack to catch it before the wild female avianoid could do any more damage to the Masquerain.

A wild Larvesta crosses their path when they would get down from the mountain and makes their way to the desert area. The Masquerain looks over to the little fire moth with a flap of his wings though the bug type doesn’t need to battle with it. They watch the small fire type Pokemon crawl away to another space in the dunes. With the duo of the royal and her moth going to the cooler part of the desert, they would take a little stroll on the dunes to find some other Pokemon.

They stop before a large oasis with blue waters in the desert while the Masquerain looks at the Relicanth swimming in the water. Senketsu doesn’t think that the fish was worth battling, so the flying bug type leaves the swimming fossil alone. After the duo leave the oasis, they go to explore the hot sand as the hovering moth looks over the sea of yellow sand and some other buildings in the distance. The winds blow past the duo where they were going while the Masquerain keeps watching for other wild Pokemon that might come to them.

At the point that they found another oasis during their trip across the dunes, the Masquerain rests on her head and folds his wings. “Do you need a break now?” She asks the small moth as she gets a little nod from Senketsu before the royal ambassador sends out her Vulpix out of his Dusk Ball to have him scout out for any more Pokemon in this area. Shun stretches out his legs before he gets to work and soon, he finds a little curious bug type Pokemon rolling something brown on the sands near the oasis’ lake.[break][break]

The Vulpix sees that the wild Rellor may be a good sparring partner to practice battling with that he fires a Flamethrower from his mouth. Fire begins to lick at the bug type Pokemon as the wild Rellor is knocked out from the super effective attack. Joining up with her Vulpix, Elise tosses a Dusk Ball from her pack to capture the wild Rellor after seeing that Shun had actually defeated it in one attack.
