The seas were tough, it was why he was glad it was the two of them, men of the waters in different ways. ”You know who you’re talking to?” He said with a toothy grin, a smile on his face as he looked backwards towards his Samurott who gave a howl as a reply to his trainers call, getting itself into the mood properly and finally jetting forward with a strong start.

”Meowscarada, Grass pledge, we’re going for the SD route.” Slow Down, it was a mixture of the two pledge moves that were expected to strike in this moment. A constant battle between the two moves before they joined into one, growing far stronger than the individual.

The water pledge was a weak bounce off its hide, but the grass pledge immediately after was far stronger, joining together to create a sludge that was difficult to move through, invading the water itself. Mud, a field effect unique to this mixture.

”We’ll keep slowing it down, and playing games with it. Keep your head sharp, yeah? Wouldn’t wanna lose my favourite new beast a couple weeks after getting the position.”

A short nod. Tempest watched as the sticky mud infected the ocean's water. It wouldn't last forever, Mother was vast and tenacious, but it should be enough for now.[break][break]

"You keep it distracted, I'm going in from behind." A half order, a half plan. Tempest would be relying heavily on Kouji Matsubara to not get him drowned or crushed under Kyogre's massive fins.[break][break]

Fitting his rebreather over his nose and mouth, clamping it securely between his teeth, he nodded to the other and dove under the water with Marina.[break][break]

The storm picked up in ferocity as Kyogre flinched, it's semi-languid movements stilling as the mud surrounded it. Sharp eyes flicked open to find the source, a high and trembling whale-call the only warning he would get before a power deluge of water would shoot from the Legendary in retaliation.
