The girl's composed, distant look disappears as she takes a step forward, and her snake darts toward him flaring her painted hood. Eyes on her stomach seem to sparkle as if alive, light shimmering through them in such a way as to confuse her prey. Within the myriad realities reflected in the tera crystals, he sees the song of Roland and Olivier. He feels their psychic energy well within him. Building up flames along the edge of his blade, Roland looks for his moment to strike. His blade strikes straight through the scales, searching for a weak point. His tera blast bathes the blade in psychic energy.
