Braving the worst of the fever, she's still gotta chip in somehow.[break][break] "Oi! Sumi!" [break][break] The black serpent at her side flicks her tail, sending a smaller arbok flying as it tries to rush Tsubaki. Clearly, it thought the larger snake was its ally in the chaos.[break][break] "Aim at the chains! And make everyone vomit the townspeople back up! I ain't lettin' 'em digest people without a fight!"[break][break] Sumire flicks her tongue in and out excitedly to show she understands. A swift zig-zag, and she's already atop the next snake. Its feverish state of mind, it can't hone its skills in quite the same way as the poison expert's ace. Nevertheless, its speed is frightening. [break][break] "Good. Now... that one, seems like it ate somethin'!"[break][break] Baki clutches her shoulder, leaning against a street sign. Her favored pokemon rushes in, swatting at the fattened beast. Unable to run, it fights. Fangs break through black armor, and tails lash against vulnerable eyes and snouts, til the deed is done. The chain is sliced clean off by a well-aimed poison fang.[break][break] Sumire spits black bile onto the pavement, then turns its attention back to its foe. One final headbutt, and the arbok regurgitates its meal before scurrying away.[break][break] "Looks like we're just in time." [break][break] Tsubaki remarks, looking over the messy results. The litten inside is wet and covered in stomach acid, but very much alive.[break][break]
