She knows that Plusle and Minun typically work together as a team and hers had become very fast friends with each other. The appearance of her other companion, the gym leader of Fortree City, was great timing since he knew more of his city than she did. A flying Charizard accompanies the blond man which she recognized as the mount Alex used during the Kyurem incident.[break][break]

“Oh, thank you. My Plusle and Minun were both so excited to come along that they insisted on coming together.” She gives her response to the way that Alex smirks at her as he’d ask for the paper list she had in her hand. “I’ll give you the list. I think you know about Fortree, so I’ll have you help me in figuring out which houses the Pokemon eggs go to.”[break][break]

Elise hands over the list to Alex and waits for him to go over the addresses on it.

Alexei’s Charizard helps with warming the eggs up and her Plusle and Minun assist with carrying the smaller eggs in their size. When her friend asks if she wants to walk around or if she’s in a hurry, the diplomat can’t imagine that she could be in a hurry to deliver eggs to people. “I’m not in a hurry, so we can walk together.” Her reply came with a small smile. In a kind of familiar way, his Charizard reminded her of her own shiny one that had a bit of a noble personality.[break][break]

“You know, your Charizard reminds me of my boyfriend’s.” Elise laughs a little since she remembered the day that she and her guard saved his starter from being injured out in the woods. “Only his is the shiny color and I’ve accidentally misgendered her a few times. Cinder is his loyal Pokemon though.”

“She does.” A reply comes from the diplomat while she sees that he’s still looking at the list she gave him. When Alex points out that he knows where the ‘brunette with a blue dress’ lived, Miss Bertha’s shop was at the time that the woman was working too which was very useful. She’ll let the gym leader take her across the town filled with wooden abodes while nature’s trees surrounded the stores and houses.[break][break]

As much as she now knew Alexei owned a Charizard himself, she gets a tidbit that Ravana won one of the contests here. The same one that was hosted by her fellow minor league gym leader. “Oh! I was there too and I think you may have seen me participate with my Gengar.” She lights up from the mention of the last Toukon contest though she didn’t win that one. “I think you and your Charizard displayed toughness from your winning performance.”

Her start at the contest was a good one for an opening performance, but she had failed to catch the audience as much as Alex did. “I was sure that after my strong start, my Gengar would be able to leave off stronger.” Alas, her Gengar would have to try some other time at another contest, but she did have some fun with using his moves. “How did Gabriel win the last Toukon competition?” [break][break]

She wasn’t there to see the Toukon contest that his Salamence won, but she is sure that Gabriel gave a very good impression on the judges.[break][break]

It didn’t take her and Alex long to get to the shop that Miss Bertha worked at and she chuckles a little at Alex telling his Charizard to be gentle with the eggs. Following Alex to the shop, she hears him call out for the name of the brunette lady at work. [break][break]

“We’re here to deliver your egg, Miss Bertha.” The royal diplomat smiles when her small electric type companions try to get the egg and deliver it to the working lady.

A little laugh comes from the diplomat when Ms. Bertha teases Alex over his boyfriend. She had her share of people that did tease her on her own significant other even when she tries to keep it under wraps. “Oh yes, we should go.” Elise gives her reply to the still blushing gym leader as her Plusle and Minun ensure that the egg isn’t broken when it’s handed out to the lady that ran the shop. [break][break]

However, Ms. Bertha had other plans. Elise hears the lady turn to speak with her.[break][break]

“Oh, aren’t you that Galarian Ambassador I saw from the news?” Ms. Bertha asks since she had recognized the diplomat and begins to speak her next words in a teasing tone. “You can’t hide anything from me either. I saw that your royal bodyguard was with you outside of the embassy. Isn’t he your boyfriend? He does look very handsome… You’re a very lucky lady, Ambassador Calcifet.”[break][break]

Now, it was Elise’s turn to blush. “We are professional with each other as boss and subordinate, miss.” The Galarian royal tries to remain composed through the shop lady’s teasing. “I suppose that I cannot hide it well. We both are in love with each other, but I’m afraid of what my other family thinks of it.”[break][break]

She doesn’t know if her elder cousin or even the Queen and the Prime Minister would approve of such a union. “My father approves of it and so does his mother and father. I was not sure if my aunt would approve a union like this since the Queen is more traditional.”[break][break]

"Well, I'm sure your family will support you on your love. If you love him, you'd tell your other family members too." Miss Bertha helpfully states with a smile.

She’s thankful that Alex had stopped Miss Bertha’s teasing on her when the lady would’ve continued with how much Elise was blushing right now. Her blushes were up there on par with how embarrassed the Fortree gym leader was being. “Thank you, Alex.” The ambassador is calmer now while Miss Bertha gives a little giggle over how embarrassed the diplomat is.[break][break]

“I’ll come stop by your shop when I’m in Fortree next time.” She smiles at Miss Bertha before the diplomat returns to the cart. Her Minun and Plusle were dutifully guarding it to make sure that no one stole the rest of the eggs that needed to be delivered.[break][break]

When Alex mentions that Miss Bertha was a busybody, Elise gives a little laugh. “Yes, I figured that she was a busybody. She seems to know more about love lives than I thought.”[break][break]

With the day still being there, the Galarian ambassador ends up helping to unload the other eggs to each of the delivery locations that Alexei takes her.
