Around the island, a mountain with the burial grounds of the dead stood. Mt. Pyre was also home to the rifts appearing around the skies and those that took other unlucky travelers to the Border. The ambassador’s job as a ranger cadet was to investigate more into making sure that the rifts aren’t hurting other people there. On the other side of things, she really needed to train most of her other ghost types than her Mismagius.[break][break]

Elise makes her way into the graveyard, her favorite place to be when she wanted to be alone. Her Marshadow follows after her, maybe Veyle is wanting to see what the burial grounds looked to her since she had left that world to this new world now. Some would think that it would be a little weird that the Galarian Ambassador hung out in graveyards more.[break][break]

But the Galarian princess really felt a lot more at ease and connected with the wild ghost Pokemon there.

While the ambassador and her Marshadow walk by some graves, a small white Pokemon comes out of them. Veyle looks over to the ghost type Pokemon though the diplomat does know it’s a Litwick. While the small candle ghost looks up to the royal and her ghost a little curiously, it would hop away. A blink comes from the female ghost type Pokemon though Veyle doesn’t think the Litwick meant them harm.[break][break]

Maybe there’s another that could agree to train with her Marshadow. Both Elise and Veyle had to keep looking for that sparring partner.

Noticing a Drifblim floating along the air, the flying ghost type Pokemon looks over to the diplomat and her ghost type Pokemon. That Drifblim was minding its own business than to engage with the woman and her Pokemon though Elise is reminded of her own Drifblim being curious too. Orange eyes from the Marshadow look over the form of the floating Drifblim until the balloon ghost floats away from them. [break][break]

They continue across the graveyard while the Marshadow keeps watch over the other graves. She’s a bit curious of the names on some of the marked ones.

During their stop to a grave belonging to a dead soldier from the Hoennian army, the diplomat speaks a small silent prayer. Though the soldier died fighting for Hoenn, she still paid her respects to a person that died for the sake of their nation. Veyle’s orange eyes blinked at a sight of a wild Cofagrigus that approached them and she gets into a battling stance. Ghostly energy surrounds the Marshadow as she attacks the sarcophagus Pokemon with a Spectral Thief.[break][break]

And while the Marshadow is wrapped by the Cofagrigus’ Mummy, he tries to Astonish her. Luckily, the Marshadow is undeterred and she punches the coffin Pokemon with an Ice Punch. Elise throws a Dusk Ball at the wild Cofagrigus which was another friend to add to her larger ghostly collection.
