Josh didn't trade Pokémon too often; he preferred to raise his Pyroar from eggs or from the wild. Such was the curse of having a large menagerie; those who have a lot are difficult to trade with by virtue of having most of what they want already. Even so, he was certain the duo would eventually work out a deal. "I'll even give you a hint of what I want. If it can wear a saddle, I'd love to have it!" Or evolved into a Pokémon that could wear one. Though he had many of them, extras wouldn't hurt; ones that were well-trained would make good loaner Pokémon for students.

At Thea's command, Janus began to canter and eventually gallop, the psychic-type's back bouncing his guest up and down. "Whoo-hoo!"
