However, beneath the staircase, one bears witness to a startling scene: scorched lands, parched canyons for seas, skeletons of civilization and nature blackened and forever burning. The destruction seems to spread from one place, one continent. There is little left of it, but one can recognize vague shapes of what was once Hoenn.[break][break]

The staircase begins to fade as the simulation ends.

she glanced down at his hand, and then back up. a small smile flashed before she stepped off the staircase alone, falling quickly between the stars. it reminded her of falling from meteno.[break][break]

the falling did not stop. she looked up to see how close barnaby followed her, or if he’d jumped at all. when she looked below again, there was hoenn – nearly unrecognizable, a scorched hell beyond the evils and shadows of the present.[break][break]

after the staircase disintegrated and the simulation concluded, and she looked at the admin again and asked, ”do you think that’s what the end looks like?”[break][break]

Lulu Flint was certainly something of a wildcard. You never knew exactly how she'd react. [break][break]
