Blanche, on the other hand, decided that her top priority was workplace morale. [break][break]

Sure, there was stuff that needed to be welded together (which she did kinda help with when she half-soldered some metal plates together with a FIRE FANG), but that was so boring. She much preferred her new job of wagging her tail and rolling over for belly rubs, provided courtesy of some of their more human supervisors that were definitely supposed to be doing something more important at the moment. [break][break]

As a matter of fact, Blanche made her way to just about every person she could find, only to finally stop at the feet of her own trainer, who sighed with exasperation and gently nudged her with the toe of his shoe. He was probably frustrated with her, but when she looked up at him, open-mouthed with a tongue lolled to the side, he too had no choice but to stop and offer her some pets.

An Aggron charging at its foes was often likened to a freight train, but they were also surprisingly good at building actual trains. Barron's strong muscles were essential in making sure the Fire types could do their job quickly and efficiently.

With the strength of twenty beefy construction workers, the bipedal rhinoceros covered head to toe in Steel armor gathered metal plates, beams, and other heavy materials from the storehouse, eventually placing them unto the assembly line.

While toiling around, he saw a Hisuian Growlithe rolling over and getting belly rubs from some of the workers. The Aggron huffed and resumed his work, definitely not jealous of the red puppy.

time marches on. familiar faces fill the factory, sweat-ridden and contorted in concentration. little words are exchanged amidst the clangorous echoes of metal on metal, the dull roar of thousand degree flames, and the rumbling of strong pokemon moving hundreds of tons of steel.

orthos' shell radiates with heat, maw spewing molten lava, limbs swinging in tandem with its kin. 

he shakes his head as an aggron moves their next completed load. freya wipes her brow with the back of her hand and spies the puppy in her peripheral. her lips twitch, betraying the barest hint of a smile in the face of such dour work.

that's what the flyer said so it felt only appropriate as hoenn's best hope to offer his help, and even though he's not physically there, he's sure his raboot can help deliver the message on his behalf.

saluting each and every one of its fellow helpers, raboot does its role as a good citizen and walks around ready to help however it can.

it offers its muscles only to be told the other stronger pokemon have it handled. okay, fair, raboot doesn't complain, so it sucks it up and does what it's told.

it helps spit fire to make sure the tracks are welded properly.

This had to rank up there as one of the odder choices for a vacation activity, but someone had put out a call for all sorts of Pokemon types and Charlotte just happened to have her Pikachu. She stood with one of the conductors in the front of the train, Sugar the Pikachu adding careful jolts of electricity to one of the batteries.

Neither knew how any of this worked, but it was a photo op and a chance to make memories so that had to count for something. She occasionally waved to those outside doing horrid amounts of manual labour, and quietly thanked she wasn't the one sweating it outside.

But this could all be improved with some music, so before long Johto-pop blared from the engine room to liven up the work.

Beau was always willing to help, but he couldn't stop himself from being a little more pensive with this project. Cain had even picked up Beau's duties, both exhaling flame to heat the heavy lengths of metal and using his strength to shove them together, offering as seamless a weld as he could by himself.

This wasn't just about helping someone, or making the region a better place. This was in response to conflict. A war was brewing, and however much Beau wished he could keep sticking his head in the Dewford sand, he'd seen where that got people. Where it had gotten him, at one point. He couldn't risk it again, so if he had to take part, it was going to be in defense of making sure he had a home to come back to, when it was all said and done.

A low growl jolted him from his thoughts, Cain cursing the awkward join of the next set of metal rods. Beau mumbled an apology to the Incineroar, moving to catch one end of the implement and offer, "Try again, brah, I'm with you now."
