Sat astride Ayashi's broad shoulders, Yuina held fast as the various readers and indicators that she had started to give way to the particular energy signature that she sought. Months and months of research continued to pour into trying to fine tune her radars and studying the unique energy of the fabrics of space time breaking and giving way to a distortion... And while she still had a lot of work more to do in predicting and even understanding distortions as a whole, she was pleased when her radars did accurately depict the beginnings of those frayed edges starting to rip and tear...[break]
She too could feel it, time shifting, changing, that ticking feeling that never truly left her... try as she might to ignore it.[break][break]
Cast in Harrow's shadow above her, the Braviary rushed through the air just above her and Ayashi as the Wyrdeer bounded along the ground, heavy hooves digging into the dirt with each leap forward. The energy was swelling, Yuina bristled as the threads began to break one by one, and she sent Harrow higher and into the air as the Braviary had a set of radar equipment fastened to his leg for readings.[break][break]
Yuina was as prepared as she never was when facing another distortion, the edges began to form, the energy began to fizzle and crackle into the physical plane, shifting time space... When she heard a voice calling out to her just ahead... A voice of a man that looked to be well within the fraying edges of those breaking threads... He was in danger...[break][break]
"Keep running, go," Yuina urged, pushing Ayashi's pace and running straight for him in the near distance. If they could get close enough, she might not lose sight of him when the final threads snapped and gave way...

It was far too late, Yuina already knew it... By the time that she had spotted him, and urged him to keep running, she wouldn't have been able to get to him in time and get him out of the perimeters of the snapping threads... So he would just have to endure...[break][break]
All at once the final thread gave way, and where Yuina was homed by the haze, the weight of time-space flickering and bending, she wouldn't wish it upon anyone unsuspecting and unprepared. Ayashi continued moving forward at Yuina's urge, finding the man amongst the static and the shifts of energy, the both of them moved almost entirely unimpaired.[break][break]
Bringing Ayashi to a stop, the Wyrdeer stamped his cloven hooves into the ground as Yuina slid down from his back, drawing in an even, steady breath as was necessary to work under the pressure of space-time ripping and mending over and over again.[break][break]
"I'm sorry... I didn't know anyone else was in the area, I couldn't track it in time," Yuina offered first, coming to meet him in the midst of the distortion.[break]
"This is a space-time distortion... The fabrics of time and space have become too thin and were torn apart, and that gives way to another time, another place...," Yuina gave a very base, rudimentary explanation at first, but she was interrupted as she knew she would be with Ayashi's stomping and huffing, heaving breaths. They weren't alone.[break][break]
"They don't last for long, time-space can mend itself, but we have to stay together," Yuina remarked, drawing out an ancient Pokeball and hitting the steam release on the device, and Daikenki the Samurott emerged with a snarl on his fangs as searing red eyes emerged through the static haze. One giant black augurite axe came down from the haze, striking into the ground with a heavy blow.

Time space continued to bend and flicker around them, trees growing, falling, growing, decaying, and growing again through decades or centuries of time passing. Rocks that were and weren't there, flashes of distant changes in the distance... The distortion was as powerful as the rest, but Yuina knew that she would again be left without answers... She would just have to endure.[break][break]
"There's a possibility we're still in slateport. When in Slateport would be the more apt question," Yuina huffed, and hoped... She reached into a pocket for a quick moment, just to make sure she could brush the silk of a sunflower yellow ribbon between her fingers... So she wouldn't forget...[break][break]
As the black augurite axe came down through the haze, digging into the ground with a heavy hit, Yuina watched the piercing red eyes rise to the creature's full height. A second axe came down, swinging across the flickering landscape, and Daikenki barked with a snarl on his jowls as the Samurott lunged forward. He struck the axe with his seamitars, knocking it out of the way, but that only enraged the Kleavor as it bellowed and lumbered into view, bearing its axes once more.[break][break]
"Kleavor... They're very physical, close range attackers, keep your distance," Yuina returned. Daikenki huffed, summoning a Whirlpool that began to encircle the enraged Pokemon, in hopes that they might be able to contain its movement within the torrent, and to allow the SHARPEDO room to work.
