A constant companion from the days that her father trained his shiny Eelektross from when Albert was a small Tynamo, the electric type lamprey follows the ambassador through a dark forest from the path they took in Route 123. Elise hadn’t been training Albert since he wanted to come along with her on excursions to find wild Pokemon. The royal ambassador figures that he would be able to help her with keeping Rustboro City safe since she had applied to be Rustboro’s Ranger Captain recently.[break][break]

There were people who think that she shouldn’t be in Hoenn and could come back to Galar. She couldn’t go home, not when she can’t face the people that think she and her elder cousin abandoned them from the Darkest Day’s aftermath. She’d feel the head of the shiny Eelektross rub against her side as if Albert knew the ambassador was distracted.[break][break]

“Sorry about that.” The princess pats the head of the walking Eelektross while Albert scouts ahead of the Galarian royal. Maybe they’ll be a wild Pokemon for the male lamprey to train with too.

Through the foliage of the forest, the Eelektross hears the sound of something moving from the thick bushes. Albert moves to the ambassador’s side since he was the one to protect her and keep her safe from whatever was following them. Seeing the shiny Eelektross come to the side of the diplomat, the wild Malamar shows itself from the bushes though it doesn’t think that it’ll take on the shiny Eelektross.[break][break]

Albert watches the Malamar move away before the Eelektross takes the path that leads to another path in the forest. Elise liked that it was a calming walk to do with her Pokemon, a companion that was once her father’s, but now Albert was her bodyguard to spend it with.

When something pounces at them, the shiny Eelektross is quick to get in front of the ambassador and use Dragon Pulse at the Liepard. The beam is a shot that tells the wild Liepard to go away, so the feline Pokemon runs off at the sight of the attack. Like a guard, Albert keeps the Liepard away from potentially bothering the two of them on their walk.[break][break]

And they’ll keep going onto the path where the shiny Eelektross gets in front to make sure that he could look out for her.

Albert hears the rustling of some nearby bushes and the shiny Eelektross moves to try and protect Elise. When a bird Pokemon flies out of it, a Thunderbolt comes from the Eelektross that his attack shocks the Bombirdier from where it was flying from. Though Elise herself wasn’t the most interested in a Bombirdier, she knows a friend that will take the bird and care for it.[break][break]

She takes a Dusk Ball from her pack and throws it at the fainted Bombirdier. Her friend would really love another bird to care for at the Fortree Sanctuary too, but she knew that he had lost his gym which was the source of income for the aviary.
