Introduction

While conflicts ebb and flow, and the battlefield changes every day, some things stay the same. Hoards of filing cabinets line the dimly lit room, more in line with a noir movie than a Rocket office. At the front desk is a person who incessantly clacks away on their keyboard. Smoke billows from their lips and dark circles cling to their eyes.

“Who the hell are you,” they say as they continue to type up a storm, “and what the hell do you want?”

Some people have names that everyone knows, and some aren’t more than whispers among colleagues and friends. Some don’t even get that. But if you’ve been in Rocket, you’ve been here. Everyone has a name, and everyone needs to be documented. Their statuses known. Records digitized and aliases with their crossed i’s and dotted t’s.

If it matters.

INSTRUCTIONS

ROCKET ALIASES:

"Everyone’s got a fake name– can’t be calling you by the real one in public, can they? Rocket utilizes aliases specific to the individual to keep things nice and orderly. Taken? Try again. Want it bad? Too bad. You’ll do anything for it? Get in line. You
ain’t the first to have the idea. And try not to take names from defectors– makes my life a lot harder. And yours.”

ROCKET STATUS:

“Look, we’ve got seventeen people in the queue for ‘Harbinger’ or ‘Gunslinger’ or whatever the grunts think is cool. If you’re out, then stay in the spotlight and let the rest of us get the true job done. In the shadows. The more attention you have, the less your friends don’t. For the cause, and what-not.”

‘Sides. Easier for me if I don’t got to run your deetz through a cipher.”

THIS IS NOT REQUIRED BY ROCKETS, but it’s important to keep information recorded in one succinct place so that everyone has access to it and knows where to access it. Since this is information related to the Plotter, it will be kept on the same sub-board. Put in an alias, and optionally the status of your Rocket according to the League and any other information you think is important to the document.

What makes this different from the previous ones is the addition of the status of publicly known Rockets/Rockets known to high-ranking League personnel. If it’s relevant to your character, then feel free to add it in. If not, then leave it blank. (Work in progress right now, but hopefully will have it up before August 11th, 2024)

Disclaimer that this is not a replacement for, or in any way, take precedence over character knowledge. I hope to keep things as updated as possible, but ultimately I can only work with what is relayed/noticed/told to me. When in doubt, ask the person who plays the character (and then also tell me pls). Also, don’t use this to try metagaming knowledge characters wouldn’t otherwise know.

This can and will be updated if anything else is determined to be extremely relevant to what is on this sub-page. Furthermore, some information will be taken from the previous document and imported here to keep things simple.
