the wind howls. minjun breathes a sigh of relief as the cool air hits his skin. he gazes up at the problem hanging over them: bird nests assembled at the top of the power lines, with healthy eggs gleaming under the midday sun. [break][break]

as well as the watchful parents of said eggs: a duo of large swellow narrowing their eyes at the sight of the rangers. minjun turns to his companion, the ranger captain of the very city they're in, and nods. "the reports were accurate. i'm glad we were able to get here sooner, rather than later." and yet, if the swellow were any indication, it didn't seem like they would leave so easily. [break][break]

his murkrow, playful yet cautious, gleams the situation from its place on minjun's shoulder. "though i'm sure the swellow won't enjoy our interference on the matter." [break][break]

“I’m glad that we made it in time too.” The ambassador looks up towards the power poles being covered with nests made by families of Swellow. A problem arose when the lines would have electricity strong enough to kill an entire nest of bird Pokemon. Her job as Ranger Captain would bring the skills Ollie trained her in for the test of helping the Swellow relocate their nests to a much better location electrocution-free.[break][break]

By her side, her trusty Mismagius begins to assess the situation alongside the perched Murkrow on top of the other ranger’s shoulder. “It looks like we’ll either have to convince them to move their nests elsewhere or we’ll have to move them ourselves.” A nod came from the Galarian royal since her priority was to save the unborn chicks from their doom.[break][break]

“It will be a good idea for you to convince them, Mana.” Elise talks with her Mismagius as the female ghost nods and gets straight to approaching the mother Swellow. She’d talk to them in wanting to warn them of a danger that the power line posed to her eggs.

there's a lot of joy to be found from the way ranger teachings are passed on, creating a tapestry of community and goodwill. minjun thinks he will learn a lot from this experience today. he is always honored and privileged to work with his fellow rangers, after all. [break][break]

"here's to hoping we can convince them first." with a gentle nudge, minjun signals to his murkrow, hangang, to follow the mismagius closely behind. the crow obeys, and flutters up into the air to meet with the swellow families at large. [break][break]

hangang has a mischievous personality besides a highly observant one, so minjun only entrusts it to act as back-up for mana, though he highly doubts she would need it. still, one can never be too careful in handling these situations. he turns to elise and says, "hangang won't say a word to the swellow, rest assured. they'll probably think it's a strange chick of mana's, if anything."
