A man who ran a cruise franchise had called in for an appointment. Something about expanding the line over to her country and it was something that Elise can do, judging by the fact that her elder cousin had also contacted her with negotiations with the Queen and Prime Minister. With the Calyrex shard giving a lot of hope for her countrymen, she’s more confident that she can get through with those negotiations.[break][break]

She’ll wait in the lobby room itself instead of her office while her secretary writes down the names that had gone out into the embassy. Both Charles and Audrey help with moving the chairs back to where they were and the shard of Calyrex appeared to be very popular with the immigrants that saw him both in the lobby and the office.[break][break]

The female Magearna had gotten along with the hare king and even played games with him when the king wasn’t busy.

Nereus arrived a little late for the meeting at the Galar embassy in Rustboro. This certainly wouldn't add any positive points to his image in front of Elise, who had already witnessed at the museum that the gray-haired man could be somewhat impulsive. But the businessman would have the chance to redeem himself at least with his smooth talk.

It wasn't in his plans to do business with a region other than Hoenn, but when the opportunity arose, he was pressured by his loyal advisors to strike a deal with the Ambassador. Mirio the Gholdengo was next to him, throwing coins from his own finger upwards and then swallowing them for fun; curiously, the coins lost from his finger were replaced as soon as they were swallowed.

"Stop eating your finger, Mirio..." grunted the giant. The ghost Pokémon didn't even pay attention to its trainer and continued its mania while they both entered the hall. By now, some secretary would have already announced his arrival.

Not that Nereus wasn't happy today, but he was certainly a little more serious than usual. He usually takes this stance when he's going to deal with bureaucratic business.

By now, her secretary had let the ambassador know that the ambassador’s intended guest arrived to the embassy. When Lucia pens down the name of the taller man, Elise comes to greet the owner of the cruise line personally along with the Calyrex that finished his little chore of setting up the chairs in the lobby. The Magearna would be walking to the break room to set up the tea set, just like how Chamomile had done it himself.[break][break]

“Hello Mr. Onassis. Welcome to the Galarian Embassy.” A little bow of her head came from the Galarian princess as she’ll remain as polite as her royal decorum lets her. “I think that matter that we discussed last meeting should be at my office. I will take you there.”[break][break]

And so, she begins the walk to her office and passes by a hallway down the other offices. Charles floats with her too, the shard knew his way around since he had been in the embassy longer now.[break][break]

“Oh, have you met Charles?” She asks the man on the way to her office when she introduces her Calyrex to him. “He is my friend or well…to put it more accurately, he’s my ‘child’ to take care of.”

In any case, he was amazed to meet the peculiar creature who, like Elise, seemed to be just as elegant.

"See, Mirio? You should learn to be fine like Charles."

Right behind them, Gholdengo continued to throw coins into the air and swallow them as they fell. Nereus was annoyed, but in truth he enjoyed his Pokémon's relaxed manner... it had everything to do with him after all.

On the way to the office, Nereus wanted to anticipate his intentions so that any attempt at negotiation would be as direct as possible. Without expecting any possible reaction from the Ambassador, he already said he was interested in expanding his shipping company to the Galar region.

"You know, Elise... you're lucky to have me here in person. My representatives would try to keep you in a meeting for hours. As for me? I'm a man who likes the simple 'yes or no'." He paused at the exact moment where he and Gholdengo were acting together to emphasize the businessman's speech. "... but I also like to make sure that it will always be a 'yes'." ~Mirio making coin sounds in the background.
