The royal ambassador hadn’t been to the beach in a while and Route 104’s one was something that always reminded her of home. Waves wash over the beach sands during the day that the princess decides to take her shiny Rowlet to train. Artemis is happy to walk on the sand and she feels the grains on her wing when the shiny owl takes it. Elise thought that her Rowlet can use the wild Pokemon here for battling since the small owl was new to it.[break][break]

Lars hasn’t called in and Elise worries for the senior ranger. She did have his number on speed dial and she wondered if he was not in this world anymore. This did warrant a trip to the Border again, just to see if Lars had died. If he was truly dead, she’ll only have the memory of helping him subdue Kyogre at the ocean routes a while back with his shiny Metagross.

The Rowlet sees a wild Alomomola jump up from the ocean waters and look at the mint green owl Pokemon. She tries to get a good look at the fish Pokemon in the air when Artemis flies though the Alomomola appeared to vanish from sight. Taking note of the fish that moves underwater, Artemis the Rowlet is sad to see the other female go.[break][break]

As she joins up with her trainer, she notes that the Galarian royal had been looking out into the ocean from the sands. The shiny Rowlet accompanies the ambassador in watching the waves too even as she had noted the wistfulness coming from the princess herself.

It was at that point that the Calyrex shard’s Dive Ball pops open from her belt.[break][break]

Else isn’t surprised that he had gotten out by himself since the shard wanted to play along with the shiny Rowlet. Blue eyes from the hare king watch the small form of the female Rowlet come over to offer him a place in the little sand castle Artemis built. Unluckily, Artemis’ sand castle wasn’t big enough for the hare king to be inside.[break][break]

So the shiny Rowlet opts to make a sand throne instead for the king. All while she ignores the Barbaracle that tries to get a good look at the sand castle.[break][break]

And that wild Barbaracle moves off to find something to eat.

A Wiglett pops out from the sand of the beach that the shiny Rowlet and the Calyrex play together on. While the Calyrex works on building more of the sand castle to make it a bit bigger for the shard to be inside, Artemis turns around to see the water type Pokemon stare at her. Upset hoots came from the small owl Pokemon as she takes up the battle with the wild Wiglett.[break][break]

Leafage from the shiny Rowlet batters the Wiglett as the water type shuts his eyes. He flails around with multiple Aqua Jets while the shiny Rowlet attacks again with a Leaf Blade. Elise throws a Dusk Ball at the wild Wiglett since she thinks this one will be a good asset to her ranger work in the summer.
