Fleeing away into the depths of Mt. Chimney, if only for a little bit, Yuina made herself scarce. She knew she couldn't remain hidden, shrouded for long, if she dropped off of any given radar for too long she would raise suspicion, but she was so tired of knowing she was being watched... By Ollie as a ranger, by Remiel as a curator, by the league in their concern, by Doug in his desires to keep her safe... She just wanted it all to stop....[break][break]
Trekking along the beaten path, Yuina looked over her equipment, taking notes, recalling the area to be one of the many locations she had surveyed and failed to gain information on one of the Noble Pokémon she had been studying. She wondered if perhaps... She could find another instance as Heizen and Hama kept pace with her. Heizen kept close on her flank, where Hama clamored up one of the rocky walls to the side, but the fire type stopped and hissed on open maw...[break]

Where first a Charmeleon moved past them, garnering Heizen's attention, Yuina threw out a Pokeball in an attempt to clear their path. But that wasn't what had gained Hama's attention.[break][break]
Just ahead, as Yuina rounded a corner, she was met with the barrel of a gun pointed at her, and she paled. Both for her life, and that of who she might have crossed as the two Heatran glowered. Their bodies were hot, fuming with intense heat, and in each open mouth bubbling, molten lava held its place.[break][break]
"No don't! We're not trying to hurt anyone!"

"Huh? Yer that girl from the distortion, ain't'cha?"

The two hetrans' heat could be felt from this distance. Montgomery lowered his gun, letting out a sigh of relief he hadn't realized he was holding in. Then, his gun was slipped back into his holster.

"Sorry. Been on edge lately," he admitted.

His encounter with howard slayte had left him rather traumatized, mentally and physically. And then there was the silent fight he had with ameena abadi...

Thinking about it left a bitter taste in his mouth.

"Yuina, right?"

The crocalor was attracted to her Pokemon's heat, growling lowly at the two trainers. Another Poke ball was tossed to capture it.

There was a quick, tense moment where anything could have happened at the drop of a hat. Staring down the barrel of a gun was as mortifying as it was the last time she had been faced with the weapon, and the time before that, and the time before that. But as Heizen glowered, drawing in a breath against the molten lava in his maw, the other voice relented in recognition.[break][break]
Yuina eased, but only just... before glancing to her two golems.[break]
"Stand down my fire," she spoke first in foreign word, garnering the attention of the two fire types. The heat drew back into their bodies as they closed their open maw, swallowing the molten lava that bubbled inside of their core.[break][break]
"Uhm, no, I get it... You never really know who you could run into. But I'd be careful, pulling a gun on a civilian would have been a bad look..."

Drawn in by the heat that both Heizen and Hama had given off, a Ninetales leered onto the path with flicking tales and open maw. Yuina threw out a Pokeball to at least placate the canid for now, so that it wouldn't instigate anything with the two golems.[break][break]
She glanced back to who she know recognized as Montgomery, someone she'd only met once before, but was ultimately familiar with given his reputation with Navy.[break]
He wondered, what she was doing all the way out there... and for a moment she contemplated telling the truth as she still struggled to do so. Running. She was running, from nothing and everything, but running in place knowing that she would have to return sooner or later...[break][break]
"Trying to find traces of a strange Pokemon sighting that was in the area a couple of weeks ago," she offered then, a half truth.[break]
"What about you," she returned, if only a bit leery. He seemed to be on edge just the same as she was.

He didn't think about the way his heart stung by admitting that he wanted to forget ameena abadi. But he had to come to terms with it: it's been a week, and she was gone.

"It'll create a hole in you that you won't ever be able to fill again, and you won't know why," she spoke then, reason behind it, maybe even unsolicited advice, but she knew a thing or two about what it was to forget, to leave something behind, and knew that she would forever be empty without it.[break][break]
