The book, possessed by the spirit that once inhabited the porcelain teacup on the coffee table, proves to show a liking to Isra's efforts. As if through telepathic means, its thick brown page turns over when she gestures it to do so, gently reuniting with its brethren on the other end. On the next set of pages, she'll find recipes and instructions for medicinal potions and practices. There is even a sub-section for hallucinatory drugs and sedatives.

Meanwhile, Remiel nods when asked whether the primary objective of their assignment was to recruit this 'Chrissy Odemiya' character. "Recruitment. And, if that proves unfruitful, relocation. We can't let our opponents kidnap her. Thankfully, the organization we work for has plenty of resources suited for granting someone a new life."

He then rises from the couch, reaching without a second thought for the phone in his pocket— but pausing when he realizes such a swift and sudden movement might make Gavin a little jumpy. In a rare display of camaraderie and amusement for the typically nonchalant prince, he smiles. "I've assembled a digital portfolio I can airdrop to you both now. It includes the time and place of our meeting."

When he's sure Gavin understands, he finishes reaching for his phone before pulling it out and sharing the aforementioned digital portfolio via the cloud.

Something in Gavin relaxes with the realization, though outwardly there is no change. It's not until the words, 'the organization we work for' that the Rocket's lip twitches in amusement.[break][break]

He does indeed tense automatically as Remiel moves too quickly to retrieve an object that Gavin can't see. At the smile offered by the other, however, the assertion that he is among allies solidifies. The tension in his shoulders relaxes, and he nods.[break][break]

Pulling out his own device, it vibrates in his hand as the message is received.

Isra pulls her hands back from the book with delight as it answers her, turning the page to something else interesting for her to skim over. She reads with care, paying close attention. It is something of pure fascination that fills her eyes now For there is a saying in old Sinnoh where are people are known best amongst the shadows.

The human body is a Nightingale's playground, for better or worse.

Reality and truth draws her attention for a moment, the technical jargon flies over her head. She understands it in a vague sense for many grueling and difficult nights for FERNANDO SILPH have taught her to navigate technology well enough to do her job but much of it still escapes her.

Isra retrieves and holds out her phone blindly, the shadow of her ghost breaks in its play to pass it along to Remiel and return to enjoying himself again. Isra will let him deal with this her part in this, she can be shown better how it works later.

Right now old world float above the pages in her eyes and fill her mind.

The mystified look in Isra's eyes succeeds in drawing Remiel's attention as he takes the phone she's offered him. It is in instances like these where the woman's truest priorities are laid bare, even if only for a seconds. And even if only to a trained eye. Then again, the black-haired belle wasn't one to lie about things either. Though obscuring certain things from view could be considered just as evasive, and she practiced that pretty well.

Regardless, one he is sure the information has been passed along successfully to both phones, Remiel pockets his own and places Isra's down on the coffee table as she keeps her nose hovering over his tome. With a creak of leather from the sofa, the Galarian stands up and reaches over the aforementioned coffee table with an extended hand. "It's most reassuring to have you along with us, Gavin. I look forward to seeing what we can all accomplish together." He sincerely nodded, shaking his hand.

"I've a few things to speak to Isra about in private, so you may exit first if you'd like. We'll see you in Verdanturf soon." He adds, closing the meeting with a polite bow.

"Good evenining Gavin." Isra does not look way from the tomb, the pages hold things she has seen and things she has not. Though she will not say it there is someting specific she seeks on the page. The kind of thing only old words might hold.

She has not found it, but she does not let it stop her form continuing to read what she does find. The only true break in her endeavor is the whistle that sends her Banette back into the midplne where she leave him to be her ever wathful warden.

A single finger taps the corner of the page and waits. "What did you wish to speak about Remiel?" she does not look up at him.

A short series of steps upon the old, creaky wooden floor is all that precedes the gentle pair of fingers that gently lift Isra's chin and, subsequently, her attention from the book. Then, without warning or apology, Remiel bends down to tenderly meet lips with her. Their exchange lingers for the better half of a moment... until he playfully nips at her lower lip and smiles. "You took my seat."[break][break]

The fingers he has placed at the bottom of her chin are relieved of their duty. He then seats himself on the large right arm of the chair she has 'stolen', resting his hands on his lap and gazing down at the page she has been staring at for the last minute or two.[break][break]

There's a flash of annoyance there, when he pries her away from her reading. It doesn't last long, she allows it to slip away, easing into the kiss he plants on her lips in its place. She let's him take it completely when he nips at her lip, so much so that there's a half smile waiting for him when he leans away from her to take his new seat.

"You weren't using it anymore." she states matter-of-fact, after all he wasn't in it when she took it now was he? Her eyes drift from him back down to the pages. She skims them again, eyes wandering from line to line.

She sighs. "There are a few... curious old remedies in here. Nothing terribly alarming." or what she was hoping to find, but she doesn't say that aloud. There were more pages after all, she could still find it. Her eyes linger on the book still, as if she can't help but think it's hiding something from her.
