In just an instant, the two rangers began turning on him as their initial target, manofsteal, was already succumbing to his status conditions. The ranger duo employed a similar strategy to the warrior: since the NUZZLE he took early in the battle already paralyzed him, the black-haired one started using CHATTER to confuse him

"Not so fast."

Valerio attempted to dodge his bullet, despite the threat of paralysis, and to leap towards where the weakened rogue was lying. It's time the two melee fighers also show the power of their teamwork.

He's not fast enough.[break][break]

Paralysis cripples him, slowing his dodge and sealing his fate. The air slash connects, dragging his health bar into critical depths and tinting his screen with a threatening red. He silently demands for his limbs to move, but the attack has him pinned down and helpless.[break][break]

He can only scowl as he watches the second ranger pull back his bow and fire off a bolt beak.[break][break]

His screen is plunged into the black, and Gavin mutes his mic and takes a few seconds to breathe through his rush of anger. He is not about to let a video game reduce him to a cursing, raging child. He pinches the bridge of his nose, vows revenge on the barcode and his equally-irritating friend, and clicks to respawn. His player home in Valora is where he ends up, and he shoots a quick DM to Valerio.[break][break]

He doesn't think he'll be able to make it in time, but he's determined to at least make an effort after Valerio risked his own hide trying to defend him.

Fernando accuses his partner in jest only because they have the clear upper hand. Now that their initial target is dead the other has no chance. Despite his bravado, the CHATTER still lands and Fernando grins as the opponent falls short. "Nah. You're dead kid."

Now that both of his standard status effects have been set, Fernando looks to wrap it up with classic AIR SLASH spam. Kyle can cover what they need for damage, but compounding their mutual CC has always proved effective. Nothing more fun than griefing another player into utter frustration. Consider it punishment for opposing the future KING and his cohert.

the rogue falls, and they're left with only one other target. he ponders on waiting until the last moment to take the kill as well.

"that's what i do best," he responds to fernando.

fernando nails him with the cc. kyle takes his one heavy hitting move and follows up his fellow ranger's attack with his own. another bolt beak charges from his arrow tip as sparks start to congregate on the pointed end of his weapon.

"just die please. saves both of us time."

it wasn't like kyle intended to talk trash to his opponent. it was just that the other player's chances of winning in a two against one match was slim, considering the status effects already stacked against him.

Manofsteal dying did not sit with him well. Valerio’s left with the two rangers to fend off. Good thing he has joined his side the moment that he fainted; he get the chance to keep his loots and the quest item that dropped.

Now, the logical course of action would be both of the long-ranger fighters will be targeting him, taking advantage of his PARALYSIS as he tries to get pass through. But the warrior knew they were just starting—if they were to do the same thing to him what they did to the rogue, he’s just another status condition away from beinn dead. This was their tactic in the Infinite Tower. And this time, he has no healer to turn to.

Feeling the extremity of the situation, Valerio cannot even return a single word against them both. The redhead was busy calculating his strategy to escape.

FERNANDO SILPH ’s summon began launching gusts of AIR SLASH as the blond one followed with another BOLT BEAK.

The warrior galloped from the remains of manofsteal, an avatar in idle waiting to respawn, into the AIR SLASH’s direction and dodged the electric-type move.
