WRITTEN BY FINN AITKEN ( Finley Black) SLATEPORT CITY — The people of hoenn should not be unfamiliar with the rise in temperature when summer comes around. This year, however, has seen an odd rise that seems to have caught many off guard, especially wild pokemon. With little to no way to cool down, many pokemon have been affected by the rising heat. Heat exhaustion and heat strokes have been the most common affliction, as reported by the rangers, who had taken the initiative to combat against the heat. But not to worry! Many have banded together to help the wild pokemon beat the heat. among them is Elite Ranger Kaida Adachi (pictured left), who single-handedly helped over twenty pokemon on the outskirts of slateport just yesterday. Adachi, along with her pokemon, conjured up streams of hydro pumps and blizzards to help cool the vicinity, while also creating a makeshift river for pokemon to cool in and drink from. Adachi has risen through the ranks and has proven herself to be one of the best the rangers have to offer. With a track record of completing missions with efficiency, it comes as no surprise that she was able to earn the rank of elite as quickly as she did. Here is what Adachi had to say about the heat wave: “Well, they weren't near water or the ocean. so I helped, I have to, they needed it and I wouldn't leave them like that.”Trainers and the rangers are still continuing in the efforts to help cool the wild pokemon of Hoenn. If you come across any that are in need of help, please bring them to the nearest ranger shelter. STRANGE PHENOMENA REPORTED OFFSHORE
WRITTEN BY VALERIE KINSEY LILYCOVE CITY - Reports of odd weather and small tremors have come out of Lilycove. Residents report seeing the occasional flash of light in the far distance during night. Curiously, similar reports have been made about rumblings offshore in all parts of Hoenn. Currently, League scientists are investigating the source of this matter. For now, many believe it is simply stormy weather far off at sea. Other theories include the shifting of tectonic plates. However, many Hoennians wonder if the flashes of light are of ultra wormholes. PAID ADVERTISEMENTS LEAVE US A COMMENT
