Finding the young woman to be much more amicable than he first anticipated, he beams with a happy grin as he nods. ”Perfect~” he says, as he follows after the girl into cafeteria.

While the sound of fast food doesn’t seem to appetizing, he doesn’t hesitate to order, only pointing at the blonde girl beside him. ”I’ll have the same thing.”

It doesn’t take very long for them to get their food and as he reaches out to grab to the tray, he simply turns back to the girl quizzically. ”Research, huh?” he ponders for a moment, thinking back to his project of Pokken Rider. ”Spoilers~”

As his eyes narrow beneath his helmet, the eyes over his helmet begin to glow a bright red. "Fine." he utters lowly in response to the pink-haired woman's request.

The suit covering over the masked vigilante flashes a bright neon green as he suddenly vanishes once more - a hostage promptly taking his place. In a panic, the robber fires his gun which bounces off his helmet. The shot disorients him, but he manages to power through, grabbing the armed wrist in the process. A twist causes the man to yelp in pain as the gun drops to the ground and with a quick upper blow under the man's elbow, the arm snaps, bending backwards.

Before the other robber can react, his suit flashes bright neon green as ALLY SWITCH activates a second time, swapping with the next hostage. He's quick to jab his gauntleted fist into the man's throat, causing him to stagger backwards and drop the gun. He turns to look at the last robber, pointing at him. "You're next."

Hendrix winces as the Charizard comes throttling down from the air and towards the ground, the single blow from the powerful rocks knocking it out. He immediately holds out his pokeball, absorbing the giant winged lizard back through a red beam before it crashes.

"Not quite what I expected." he says, frowning slightly from disappointment. He presses the button on a new pokeball and tosses outwards, a Ditto emerging from its confines. "It's your turn Copycat!" he shouts.

As if on cue, the Ditto quickly uses TRANSFORM, taking the shape of the Sceptile.

Hendrix’s brow furrows and wrinkle close together when the woman looks up at him with a polite and courtly smile, further cementing his assertations about the blonde’s identity. She’s quick to leave and he’s quick to follow – the smell of tobacco never escaping.

”No, no, I do believe I have.” he curtly counters, thinking back to the reports he’s seen while working within Interpol. ”Aren’t you that one girl who’s face was all over the Harmonia Foundation back in Unova?”

His approach is blunt, but with purpose as he’s trying to gauge how the woman might react, especially since he’s blatantly calling her out.

Taking the brunt of the assault from multiple pokemon causes the Skarmory to collapse shortly after the Scyther’s defeat. Hendrix is quick to recall the steel bird in a beam of red light before looking back to billi.

”Lyger, Durandal, combo time!” he calls out to the incineroar and doublade.

Giving a brisk nod, the Incineroar unleashes a flamethrower upon the leavanny while the doublade simultaneously melds into the shadow of the ongoing fire to appear behind the grassy bug to push it into the fire from behind.

The Timburr isn’t very avid towards fighting as it’s more accustomed to hard labor; however, the other pokemon around it seem thoroughly enthusiastic.

It idly stands about, apprehensive about making its own attempt at taking a swing at the Wobbuffet. Each blow to the living punching bag causes it to wince as it feels for it – someone has to; however, its ability to spring back into action despite taking a blow seems almost inspirational.

A human voice calls out to it, passing instructions. It seems that it’s his turn now. Everyone else have taken their turn beating up the poor pokemon. Stepping forward, it nervously looks upwards at the taller pokemon as it’s overcome by stage fright of sorts.

Hit it already! A voice screams at it. Squeezing its eyes shut, the Timburr strikes out finally with a LOW KICK. The underhanded sweep comes unexpected as the Wobbuffet doesn’t spring back, instead tripping to the ground. And with that, the Wobbuffet is defeated.

Seems like all they had to do to win was to trip it.

Lyger the Incineroar spins one half of the Doublade into a back grip while releasing the other. Understanding the flaming tiger’s intention, the Doublade extends its ribbon, latching to the 2nd sword’s. The Incineroar passes a cocky grin as it begins to spin the blade, using it to deflect the caltrops flung its way.

Momentarily distracted by the incoming projectiles gives the Scyther enough time to strike the Incineroar from behind as a blade of wind cuts into its back.

The Incineroar isn’t alone in combat though, as the Skarmory suddenly sweeps down on the Leavanny, slamming its steely wing against with a powerful BRAVE BIRD.

Threat assessment

Hendrix quietly eyes the small ember burning away the wrapping of his cigarette – the lingering scent of tobacco easing his mind. His eyes are stuck against the clinging ash, knowing that it’ll scatter with the wind with a single nudge.

Without moving his hand, he leans it inwards, taking a large puff, causing the embers to burn away at a rapid pace. He holds the smoke within his lungs for a moment before exasperating a sigh, the entrapped smoke escaping from the confines of his lips.

It’s funny how smoking is permitted in a heavily forested city such as Fortree, but the people don’t seem to mind.

His attention is momentarily caught by the blonde woman kneeling and praying. He doubts the woman is a devout believer, but he’s not here to judge. He almost ignores her before coming to the quick realization that the woman seems suspiciously familiar – as if he’s seen her face somewhere before.

With an arched brow, he approaches her, leaning over from the side. ”Haven’t I seen you before?” he inquires with a scrutinizing gaze.

Eyeing the giant green gecko emerge from its pokeball, Hendrix nearly underestimates his opponent as he flashes her a great big grin; however, he’s immediately taken aback by its great speed. His eyes narrow upon watching the Sceptile multiply with after images.

Realizing that even his Charizard is having difficulty trying to figure out which one is the real one, he clicks his tongue a few times. Its horns slightly perk as it lowers its head – the embers quickly puffing out into black smoke as a cloud of smog quickly smothers over the large gecko, preventing it from taking further action thanks to the SMOKESCREEN.

With the large smoke all around, the Charizard leaps high into the air, using its great big wings to pull it higher as it stares down at the cloud of smoke beneath it, waiting for the Sceptile to emerge.

Thoroughly amused by the young woman’s grouchy behavior, he lets out a small chuckle wondering if this is how it’s like to have a younger sibling. He doesn’t mind that she’s staring daggers at him as such looks are the norm for him – especially when he’s moonlighting around at night under his alter-ego.

Seeing and hearing the young girl speak underwater and without her regulator causes him to chortle slightly. He briefly stifles his laughter, giving the girl an okay symbol with his hand. ”Relax, you’re doing fine.” he retorts cordially through his face mask.

He pauses for a moment, giving the girl some time to speak again, before nodding in affirmation. ”Yeah, I’ve got an eye on them. They’re not too far.” Waving over his Sharpedo, he briefly mounts onto it with an arm, letting it lead him down deeper into the reef.

”Let's just hang close. The Sharpedo and Carvanha should be enough to keep preditors away.” he says, making sure to keep some distance to not startle the school of Corsola. "So what's a girl like you doing far out from pacifidlog?" he casually inquires, trying to make small talk.
