a new line of punching bags were all displayed for the pokemon who took the job. each of them was tasked with testing the strength of the materials, alongside finding any other deficiency their product would have. the designs were a little bit more questionable though, as the lucario stares at the one before him with disgust.

the punching bag before him resembles the face of FERNANDO SILPH. it was apparently a popular request for those that had watched the recent press conference, mostly because people just want to hate on him for very little reasons. more often that not though, those are enough.

the lucario is reluctant to even touching the face of the politician, but knowing that he has a job to do, he resigns himself and eventually hypes himself up to throw a punch at it.

pow.

a single, concentrated punch manages to knock it back with a nice sound. as it swings back to its original position, the lucario finds a spark of entertainment with the act. he follows it up with multiple punches of fernando's face, and he would most likely be conditioned to punch a silph in the future with this.

Much like his trainer, Gallade harbors hatred towards immigrants in their region. And naturally, upon spotting an image of FERNANDO SILPH’s face attached to one of the punching bags, it reacts in disgust similarly to the way kyle lopez’s Lucario had.

Foreigners did not belong in Hoenn, but above all, they didn’t belong in a training session.

Gallade strikes the training dummy not with its fists, but instead, the blades attached to its arms. With each slash it takes, frustration builds up and ignites the fighting-type’s strikes with renewed fervor.

Of all the species of fighting types in the pokémon world, Mankey and Primeape were uniquely both ornery and naturally inclined to punch.

Sénon hadn't even gotten the chance to tell Primeape what he was supposed to be doing before he wandered off and found something that seemed to just piss him off.

He could only stand to look at it for a second before he began to express himself with his fists.

It started slowly, with a singular powerful punches, soon after came the systematic combos. Before long it was raining down punches on a face it hated and the more the face persisted the angrier it got.

It would be a while before Primeape grew tired but the amount of punches it would deliver by that point, it would be a definitive test as to if the woobufet face remained visible and in tact or not.

Testing punching bags? Well this was something right up Gareth’s alley.

Although, for some reason the dual-type could not understand—why did some of them have… human faces… printed on them? Shrugging at the show of violence that was going on around him, he took a deep breath and decided to check out some of the other not-so-questionable designs.

One of them resembled a… he guessed it was a Pokémon, but it was nothing he had ever seen in his entire life (a punching bag made to look like a Regirock. Such irony).

It looked extremely realistic, too, and since the other Fighting-types weren’t holding back…

Shrugging his shoulders again, he decided to let loose with a flurry of Psycho Cut attacks.

They stood up to the slashing attack, with nary a scratch to the face and design.

Durable indeed.

Not all fighting pokemon fought the same. [break][break]

Case in point the Farfetch'd here that stood in front of one of the blue punching bags with the stupid woobufet face on it. While most fighters fought with their hands, this bird fought with an over-sized Leak. A leak in which he took great pride in and seemed unsure of how it felt to be using it against such a thing. Would he be happy if the punching bag worked against him thus proving the product worked? Or would it secretly nag at him that the Leak he worked so hard to choose failed him?[break][break]

Ah well enough with staring the stupid face down, it was time to test the blasted thing. With his overgrown blade the Galarian Farfetch'd went on an onslaught. A combination of LEAF BLADE, and FURY CUTTERS aimed at all of it. Attack after attack the fighting bird continued to go at it. Even after a bladed BRAVE BIRD it seemed to survive. [break][break]

Fine weird little punching bag... you win this time. You have been sufficiently made... That or he needed to get himself a new leak, one of the two.

In an effort to determine the ceiling, or the most abuse the punching bags can handle before being torn apart or damaged, Kubfu is prepared to dish out some legendary punishment. Before it even begins, it hones its senses, mustering the energy to deliver its FOCUS PUNCH. It's a single, devastating strike that can deal a wicked blow...

As its tiny, balled fist connects, the chains immediately groan and creak as the force and weight of the bag is easily sent flying back, straining the fixture holding it...

It only barely holds, with the fixture swaying off its base momentarily before clattering to the ground as the bag swung back like a pendulum, which would've knocked back the Kubfu given its small stature; but it COUNTERS.

It spins around on one heel before driving its other foot upward, driving his foot into the bag as it came crashing back towards Kubfu, sending it flying once more. Except now the fixture completely falls apart in one spot, allowing the punching bag to dislocate and sprawl on the floor some few feet away. At least the bag held up.

Upon the punching bag, Silph's face sat crumpled against the floor, looking up at Kubfu as if glowering.

This was the first time this toxicroak has even done this type a thing. A job designed strictly for pokemon. He found it odd but agreed to partake. Beady eyes observed his fellow test dumbs as they hit the bags and some, even seemed to found enjoyment out of this. Curious. Why did they find this enjoyable? They also seemed to go along with what the human’s request them to do regardless of their personal preferences. Interesting.

It was his turn next, causally strolling up to the oddly looking human bag. He lowered to a sitting position, head titled to one side. Where they made at this human? But after several minutes of staring at the bag, a human told him to hit. He stood up on his legs again, raising his fist. Why must he hit it? A low red aura formed around his entire body. It grew intensity until the toxicroak throw his fist forward straight into the bag. The bag moved away form him, taking the blunt from his fist as he took a set back. The bag reached its peak before swigging back at him, the toxicroak easily evade the bags attempt to hit him. Why did the bag try to hit him?

A human’s voice told him to hit it again as the bag settled before him. As the human requested, his body grew red and he thrusted his fist forward into the bag again. It moved, swigging back once again. This was strange. It seemed pointless but I guess humans were strange creatures anyway. A human told him to hit the bag again and so he did. Waiting until the bag either came back at him or settled before him before hitting it again. He wondered how many times he had to do this before they would be satisfied.

The Timburr isn’t very avid towards fighting as it’s more accustomed to hard labor; however, the other pokemon around it seem thoroughly enthusiastic.

It idly stands about, apprehensive about making its own attempt at taking a swing at the Wobbuffet. Each blow to the living punching bag causes it to wince as it feels for it – someone has to; however, its ability to spring back into action despite taking a blow seems almost inspirational.

A human voice calls out to it, passing instructions. It seems that it’s his turn now. Everyone else have taken their turn beating up the poor pokemon. Stepping forward, it nervously looks upwards at the taller pokemon as it’s overcome by stage fright of sorts.

Hit it already! A voice screams at it. Squeezing its eyes shut, the Timburr strikes out finally with a LOW KICK. The underhanded sweep comes unexpected as the Wobbuffet doesn’t spring back, instead tripping to the ground. And with that, the Wobbuffet is defeated.

Seems like all they had to do to win was to trip it.
