"Rowan told me lots about you... and I can see what he means with his descriptions. Hope we can get along..."

What throws her for a loop is that Melody decides to focus on her dress - Does she expect a compliment for her own outfit too? Or is that just proper manners to do so?

"Uhm... you too?" Her attention drifts over Melody's dress, never lingering on one spot for too long. "Found it in Dewford. The shop was pretty hole-in-the-wall... you should probably visit it some time, see if anything catches your eyes?"

Of course, she remembers how she's given him her whole name all those years, as if it were a piece of candy - How unguarded and naive she'd been then. But hearing that tainted family slip off his tongue makes her stiffen, unease swirling in her chest as she drowns in its bitter taste.

"Just Lilith would be fine." She murmurs, shooting Rowan Wrynn a worried glance. Eclipse on the other hand, instinctively cowers at the name, his ears flattening against his head as he buries his face into Lilith's arms. All those news articles from years ago, surely they must have been buried by time. Her home wasn't as deeply entangled with Hoenn, so she may not have to fear as much but still...

"So how much have you drunk already?"

Shrugging it off takes more than a little courage, her hands gesturing at his glass as her gaze is averted from the lurking problems yet again. For a moment, she's entranced by Cobalion's presence; Perhaps, even intimidated by the stern look he has. Such is the demeanour of the powerful and divine.

She looks to the buffet table that Mistral has claimed, briefly wondering if she should grab a drink of her own. After all, she has to have something to occupy her when she wishes to avoid a question.

[attr="class","hanatext"]Familiarity, comfort, anything that gets her out of mildly disconcerting predicament. If she wants to get away, she most likely needs to hide in plain sight. Thankfully, Eclipse is quick to tap on her arm, letting out a quiet bark as he points off into the distance. She has to squint a little to follow his trail of thinking, but she does catch onto it soon enough.

"Rowan! and uhm... Adrian...?" Her attention flicks past them. "Oh, and the missing Melody Miro... I guess."

Weird combination, but she won't question it. There have been much weirder things in life that she's simply willing to turn a blind eye.

[attr="class","hanatext"]When she'd read about a party at the Mossdeep Space Centre to celebrate the viewing of the Litleonids, Lilith certainly hadn't expected it to get this wild. Steelix's falling on top of others, mist swirling upon the dance floor, the music rapidly switching between clown music and other genres, a kid starting a fight then promptly stabbing someone and now security being called over for some kind of fight?

She's by no means attracted to the thought of being involved in drama, but she'd be a liar if she said she wasn't the tiniest bit curious of what happened. Her heels click lightly against the marbled floor, her posture upright but not too rigid, just as she's been taught. In her arms, her companion for the night sits, a neat little bowtie distinguishing him from the rest. His tail sways against her skin, azure eyes watching the crowd with utmost intent - Another batch of madness, another sight to behold; He's thoroughly entranced by the entertainment that these incidents offer.

At least, until Lilith promptly turns and begins walking away, her pulse quickening though she remains composed.

What's Guinevere Auclair doing here of all places? Was she sent here to look for her? Or is it just pure coincidence? After all, this event was broadcasted all over Hoenn - Anyone would have known about it...

For now, she prefers to hide away, slipping back into the crowd and avoiding Gwen's gaze should it ever pass over her. Arceus knows what might happen if she doesn't.

A greater splash behind her drenches the back of her jacket, a strange chittering noise echoing as Hex slinks over. His ears droop from the weight of water, liquid drip drip dripping from the cloth as he vigorously shakes his head around.

"I remember the time I snuck into a bar. It caught fire." A light snort escapes her, the bizarreness of the incident now mixed with a hint of hilarity when she thinks about it. "I trust your bar visit wasn't as eventful. Well, excluding whatever you may or may not have done? Say, ever considered having him move in with you? That'd be kinda cute... You could do stuff together more often and all?"

[attr="class","hanatext"]The heat has never sat well with her. Funny when she thinks about it. And yet, she's here, avoiding the public eye as she gently unwraps the bandages from her arms.

"They'll just get soaked." She whispers, carrying her Zorua into her arms as he quietly licks at her scars. Yule had refused to join due to her snowy nature, while Rubia and Hex seemed more than happy to keep themselves dry. So the duty of being her company fell upon Eclipse's shoulders, not that he actually minded.

Stepping into the sauna room, Lilith is briefly comforted by the sight of steam, the wisps of smoke curling and breathing with life. And beyond that blurry veil is a rather curious fool, one so easily impressed by simple architecture that it brings nothing but hints of worry to her heart.

"Have you never been to places like this before...?" A question comes before the greeting, a brief nod given as she settles her Zorua onto the bench. "It's easy to overheat, so just... sound out if you feel unwell at any point."

There are moments when Lilith wonders if Hoenn is really safer than the place she once called home.

Paws hurriedly scratch at the ground, ice cracked and thrown to the side as the Vulpix steadily unearths the root. So after all the time and effort spent, this is what it'll culminate into. Seeing these frosted carrots for the first time, Lilith can't help but feel awed by the shine it has. Glastrier doesn't seem to be as powerful as the one that this stranger's backed up by, but it's still strong nonetheless. She doesn't have to worry about being sought after if she doesn't do anything that catches their eyes, neither does she particularly plan to seek them out.

"This ship is one of those, isn't it?" Placing her fork down, Lilith lets her gaze wander over to her pokemon. "A vessel for smuggling..." On the other hand, the Midnight Lycanroc takes one final snap at the Dragonite's neck and leaps free, entirely ready for the fall. The ground rumbles and rough Edged Stones shoot out towards it, rising just high enough to allow a safe landing and minimise the impact of the fall. This dragon may think he plays smart but he forgets one crucial thing, a strange cackle echoing through its chest as it turns its gaze towards the intended prey -

Perhaps, she should go back to the area for a search sometime.
