Everyone possesses an antagonistic side, some just hide it better than others. This time, for the very first time, she sees Razz's. And she thinks to herself that she's rather lucky that they've never really stood on opposing sides.[break][break]

"The only time I've seen stuff of that level was when the Lake Guardians were helping Kyogre at the Tree of Life. It underwent a transformation and had the same appearance as it looks out there in the seas... and then a whole bunch of pokemon around it also did the same. And their forms didn't look anything like their mega evolution." She sighs, drawing her closed eyes with her thumb and index finger, then pushing her palm up her forehead and flicking the stray strands of hair out of her face.[break][break]

Well, that's just another thing to look into when she has the time. Right now, she has a chance to see the rarest of sights and she'd be a fool not to take it.[break][break]

[attr="class","inner-finally"]Princess? The title makes her spin around, beautiful shades of pink almost blinding as she raises a hand to cover her eye. But as soon as she's adjusted to the ephemeral glow, Eris does her best to straighten up, lips parted in awe at the sheer glamour that stands before her.[break][break]

Compared to Diancie, she's like a piece of coal. Her hair's a little messy, so are her clothes. And she must look rather unsightly with those scars and eyepatch. Still, she does her very best, curtseying before the princess and stumbling a few steps to the left as she tries to recover her balance.[break][break]

"Nice to meet you, Diancie! Don't listen to what Navy said. I have a proper name and it's Eris! Eris Rosmontis Halla!" A side eye is thrown towards Navy, only to grow into a squint when she spies him lighting yet another cigar. A bad habit, but she supposes it's how he must cope with all the pressure - Like how some adults turn to alcohol or love to drown out the worries.[break][break]

"And well, I'd like to know more about you." It's rude to turn her attention away for too long, so she turns back with a leatherbound journal in hand. "You see, momma once told me stories about a princess carved from the most precious of stones. Made of the rosiest diamonds and blessed with the kindest glow... I'm guessing that story must've been talking about you, huh? Since you're just as pretty as she described her to be!"

Accompanied by someone who seems rather familiar with this scenario, Eris wastes no time in urging Reiner to follow. Not that she needed to, given how his body had already moved on instinct and followed the lead of the confident. At least, until everything seems to go south.[break][break]

Heels dig deep into the ground, claws scraping trails into the dirt as he scrabbles to a stop. And with his haunch just barely sliding over the ground, he finally cancels the momentum and leaps in the brand new direction. Dodging falling rocks and feeling the heat nip at his hocks, he tries his best to speed up, blazing a trail without daring to hesitate for the briefest moment.[break][break]

They won't make it. Is this how this simulation is meant to run? This is far more horrifying of an end than having to drown in a lake over and over, but this time it'll be made worse with the fact that Reiner has to feel the pain too.
