Asking seemingly obvious questions either helps to eliminate ideas or give rise to brand new avenues of thought. But there is a small hint of disappointment that crosses her gaze with what Navy's said.[break][break]

Not being able to take stuff out with them? The diamond could have been a pretty gift to leave for her mother, to show her much more of the world that she'd lost her chance to explore.[break][break]

Why is he here?

Like a shot of adrenaline injected straight into her bloodstream, she pounces at him. Not to harm, but to hug him with whatever feeble bits of strength she has left. To hug him as tightly as she can as if that might help to hide the trembling. Nothing has changed about their situation. If he and the other screaming prisoners haven't made an attempt to bust out, they're still stuck in a prison with no escape.[break][break]

And yet, just having him here in the deepest and darkest of times affords a little warmth to her cold, lifeless soul.
