Though his annoyed frown becomes an amused smile as he hears what they're here for. "Ah I see so you're answering a call," he nods as he motions for the other to follow him out of the labs with a whistle three different Riolu follow suit. [break][break]

"So who are you? And do you understand what's being studied at all?" he's curious to see how knowledgeable the other is.

Once the call is over Pryde gets up to poor the other a drink, all of it being done with his robotic arm as it seems he was testing something. "Fine for now I suppose, including yours I believe I have 7 of my Riolu out and still waiting their return," after he gives the drink he sits back down, "So at the moment nothing really to report about it as none have returned."[break][break]

Though as he says this seems like a pair of Riolu peek in from the door snickering at each other as one pulls at the tail of the Riolu Gavin brought in. "And how has that one been fairing?"

Both stop talking as another voice is heard. Pryde looks up and raises his glass in welcome, "Well don't just wave your glass turn the camera dickwad," Gavin should be no stranger to her oh so colorful language seeing as the man has met her enough. Which was funny seeing as most who knew the man well enough knew that he doesn't usually care for those that cussed too much. Always described them as too mentally handicapped to use real words to express themselves properly, and then there was his wife. [break][break]

He does turn the web came and on the holo projector of his wife, and Akela smile widens in recognition, "Well if it ain't Gavie-wavie," she jokes in greeting, "You're still his boss right? You should order him to lay on the couch and let you fuck him for me," she tells her husband obviously not caring of her volume as Pryde turns the camera back onto himself.[break][break]

Its quiet in the labs tonight, it was most nights it seemed as most the staff preferred to sleep which was fair. Most enjoyed going back to the homes they've come to take within Sootopolis as apparently the idea of drowning in the sub as a thing. Only a few voices could be heard by Pryde and Lulu's more crazed staff such as Wright and a few others. [break][break]

Though another voice could be heard if you entered the office, if one were to step inside they would see Pryde laying on the couch with a drink in hand, a bottle on the coffee table as on it he was in a phone call with his wife. The two chuckling as they seemed to be catching up. [break][break]

Seemly sleeping peacefully on the floor was his Pyroar who seems to perk up as she sense someone coming close to the door.

The older man just gives a smile, always willing to put on some type of charm for those willing to help him as he knows it'll encourage them to participate later should he ask. Though with M.A.G.M.A around Pryde doubts he'll have any troubles finding volunteers in the future. Though for now just step one. With that said he does look toward his Melmetal who was sparing with a couple of Riolu. One Shadow and one Purified, Pryde gives a whistle making the trio stop as he gestures over toward the Melmetal who walks over. With the scrap the doctor feeds him the Melmetal is much bigger than when it originally evolved. [break][break]

"Though seeing as one of you is a new face I am Doctor Raphael Pryde, you can either call me Doctor or Pryde," his first name was not an option. "Think you two can handle the beast behind me?"

With many parties and festivities going on in a way to levitate panic over the incoming minior, Pryde of course takes part. Well most of them are dull and not really up to his standards personally, however there is one game going on he enjoys. A good old Poker Tournament that 'Lloyd Kvar' always heavily enjoys to do. Wanting to keep up appearances, and get a break from the labs Lloyd could often be seen coming to Slateport Casinos and having fun at the tables. Most think its the way the retired doctor makes his living now adays as he doesn't seem to have any active projects himself. He has a large break after the first round after he is able to anger most of his table and tricking them into betting it all within the first few hands. [break][break]

So here he is now near a bar at the beach pondering over a drink, "I'll take a margarita," he finally orders for now ignoring those around them despite how familiar they are.

Pryde is in fact not there so the labs are left to his little bees. People looking busy with their own projects or something the man as personally assigned them too. Several pokemon in tubes as it looks like something was being injected to see what the possible results could be. [break][break]

"Yo~" a young voice calls from afar, before she looks agitated with herself, "Wait shit... Welcome," her tone goes from playful to professional with a flip of a coin it seems. as the short girl waved at the lab's visitor, "Name is Drei, I'm one of the assistants here, how can I help you?" she does give a glance to the Lucario by their visitor's side and has a guess, but best not to assume.

The look the Riolu gives is a bit of a defiant one, seeming to think their power too good to be so easily tamed. Though thankfully it seemed that it's attitude would no longer be Pryde' concern soon enough as negotiation tactics were working well enough. [break][break]

Though with the name he pauses as if to give thought. While he knows the answer he's given others, most he assumes have ignored him he is sure. "Normally I say no, they're tools and they need to keep their place," he gives his opinion in the matter, "However a little birdy has told me a certain someone may be up for a promotion," he gives a shrug with a small smirk on his features. With that he does place the Riolu's pokeball on the table for the other, "Behavior collars are also available on request"

Pryde lowers his arm as the Riolu obeys, no longer needing to activating the mechanism within his robotic arm. "You'll be staying with this one until you can show some progress," he tells the Riolu who just nods not wanting to get on the scientist's bad side. With that order he does look toward Isaac to see how the other takes control. [break][break]

"Just remember to bring it back when you're done," Pryde reminds the other, speaking as if he were lending the young man a simple book rather than a pokemon. Last thing he needs is for his studies to be delayed because those he is hiring because they can't follow orders. As they leave Pryde watches to see how the others were learning.

For now he ignores the other's averse toward canines as he gives the Riolu a look that seems to get the pup nervous enough and it crosses it's arms in seeming a nervous reluctance before Pryde looks toward Mars. "I'm looking for people to take in these Riolu and evolve them, seeing as their nature of evolution directly involves the bond I'm looking into, and not only that but the Lucario's aura ability is something of interest as well.[break][break]

He watches the purple Riolu strike aggressively, pryde taking special interest in this one seeing as to where it came from, as the other seems to want to give him his life story. [break][break]

He asked a simple question, and expected a direct answer not this 'im so in tune' explanation. If he were being honest those he hired while he did respect some of them, such as Cillian Quinn, but there was also a small hint of distaste at the idea that the people he is hiring are befriending these tools. Least they were all getting the job done. [break][break]

Pryde gives a whistle grabbing all the canines attention, "Subject I Attention," he calls out. The one Riolu near the wall that wasn't really participating looks up. Seems reluctant about moving before Pryde raises his right wrist up. The movement enough to know the concequences as they jump up and run forward at reluctant attention. "This will be your subject," he says to Isaac, "It tends to be distant so maybe you can make use of your 'eight'"
