Summer watched him, falling in her kick, as he coughed blood over the floor and onto her heels and her dress. Ruined... first by alcohol and now by blood.

"And I liked this outfit."

She grabbed a chair, pulling it forward as she took a seat in front of him. She waited for him to collect himself, though she tapped her fingers on her arm to appear impatient. In reality, her paranoia and anxiety were getting the best of her.

"You don't know where he is? Then why did I gather intel saying you knew where he was? And where were you going before we caught you?"

Summer leaned back, crossing her leg and pushing her foot forward onto the chair. A threat to hit other places, or worse...

Summer watched as the basket swayed a bit as they entered, feeling a wave of nervousness crawl over her. And it rose again, as they rose slowly higher and higher.

But she also remembered that if they fell, well... Barnaby was there too.

But the lights of the festival caught her eye as she peered over the area, everything growing smaller and smaller as they reached the top. She pressed her hand against the panels keeping them from falling out, childlike wonder in her eyes.

"This is... magnificent..."

She barely tore her gaze away from the sight, only glancing over at her friend once or twice.

Like a magician, Summer parted the sea of people with her mere presence, guiding Elisabeth with a delicate hand as they entered the dance floor. It seemingly got quieter and louder at the same time.

With eyes on the both of them, with Elisabeth's stunning beauty not hidden unlike earlier.

Summer loved attention, of course, but she came here for drinks and fun with her newly formed friendship with Miss Fiorelli. No man or woman would catch her eye and bring her away from her fun.

Summer glared at him with cold and fiery eyes, the first twinge of annoyance crossing her features. She needed Ollie to cooperate, for his sake and her own.

Not play this stupid "I know what you're doing," game.

"Shut it. You have a lot to say for someone bound and beaten," she hissed, her nails unkindly digging into his scalp.

However, he tore his head from her hand and spit at her. Luckily, it landed on her dress, staining it with the ugliest blood-tinged spit. Summer let out an annoyed huff, lifting her skirts and throwing a kick to his gut.

"You have a lot of nerve. You know who you're dealing with. Do you really want to play this game, Ollie?"

Summer hated that look of near calm Ollie gave her when she entered the room as he gave up thrashing against his restraints. It was unsuspecting and unknowing, like a baby bird waiting for its mother to return to the nest.

And she was nothing more than an ARBOK coming in for the kill.

He shouted at the mirror, and Summer knew that she had to make a show or else more questions would head her way. She said an apology inside her head before she reared her hand back and slapped Ollie across the face, hard.

Grabbing a fistful of hair, she pulled his head up, trying her best to look intimidating. But she didn't know if her façade was beginning to crack.

"Where is he Ollie? We have all the information we need... no need to hide anything from us anymore..."

Summer didn't hear any response from her brother. She couldn't tell if it was because she struck a nerve or he was so intoxicated and drugged that he couldn't comprehend what she said straight.

Or a bit of both.

However, as he seemed to turn and pout, an evil smirk crawled on her lips. A moment of victory, knowing that she had put him in his place for the time being. From what she could tell, it was Summer one, Knox zero tonight. And it would stay that way.

"Running off with your tail tucked now? Typical. Can't even defend yourself because you've fucked yourself up so badly."

Summer didn't particularly care whether Knox heard her or not. She did, however, care when she spotted one jayden cross nearly bump into him as he came through the room.

"Shit. I have to keep him away from Cross."

With quick strides in her clicking heels, Summer was at Jayden's side in no time. She offered a kind smile to her childhood friend, looping her arm into his as she led him away from Knox.

"Hey, Jayden. I didn't expect to see you here tonight. Why didn't you send a message? You know that I would've been at a place like this. We could've met up before hand and gotten ready together or something," she offered sweetly, her demeanor completely different from the way she had treated her sibling moments ago.

Normally, Summer wouldn't yield so much control to someone. She was the domineering type, the one to take charge and lead the night. Perhaps it was the alcohol raging in her veins reigning her in, curious to see what he'd do.

As Felix's hands traced down her figure, her own ran to the expanse of his shoulders, splaying her hands there before smoothing them down. They trailed down his back as he drew her in, her nails dipping down and dragging across his skin through his clothes.

"I'm yours tonight, Felix," Summer answered, her voice wispy like clouds.

To emphasize that, she pressed as close to him as she could, her chest pressed against his as her mouth came to bite at his jaw. Deft hands lowered to work diligently to undo whatever belt and buckles held his slacks up, determined to earn her prize.

It seemed that the program wasted no time in sending Summer and Cade into danger, a strange creature she had never seen before attacking the moment they settled on the ground. She let out an annoyed scoff, shooting to the opposite side as Cade went right.

Whereas he glowed an earthy beige, she was wrapped in dazzling white, a feeling of increased speed and agility from her chosen ABSOL spirit-link. Along with it, she felt a sense of danger, turning in time to see another swirling attack coming her way.

Another roll, and she was beside Cade once again.

"What? You can't come up with something yourself?" Summer teased.

Though she teased, she channeled an energy inside her, the power of the ABSOL link she had. It would take a moment to build and use, but she had a feeling that one she imbued it in her weapon, it could do ample enough damage to perhaps get them somewhere (FUTURE SIGHT).

"Give me cover while I charge this attack. Find me a weak spot."

Cade Atreides

Typically, Summer knew well enough when eyes were on her, looking and examining her from all angles. However, in this new environment, her attention was captured, stolen away as she engulfed herself in the controls at hand.

"Fascinating..."

The clothes she wore in the simulation were different from what she'd wear on a typical day. Tighter, for sure, but not inhibiting her movement. Athletic is the style, shorter shorts coming to the tops of her thighs and a shirt to match. She looked nothing like she did in Hoenn, aside from her figure.

Not that it was what occupied her attention, but it surely seemed to catch Cade's.

Looking through the list of Pokemon, Summer selected ABSOL. Perhaps it would be useful in spotting any danger ahead of them and be used as a warning sign. Scrolling through character classes, her train of thought was interrupted by her partner. A displeased look crossed her face as she turned, meeting his eye with her own fiery ones.

"Me? A healer?"

Summer could laugh at the sheer thought. With a small scoff, she tapped on the screen, selecting ASSASSIN. Her line of work was familiar with guns, knives, and luring a target. What would be the difference here?

With the final instructions at hand, Summer also pressed the ready button, turning her body to face Cade.

"Hope you can hold your own. I'm not going to hold your hand," she said with a smile to conceal the venom.

The words that slipped from her lips were of genuine curiosity, tainted with fear. Though she didn't know if her father dearest would pick up on that. Would Merrick Prescott believe that she was defying him, by asking him these questions?

His reaction was a sure fire sign that Summer fucked up.

Her scarlet gaze pulled away from Ollie to her father as he stood in front of her, towering and looming as he spoke down to her. Not as an equal, as he seemed to most of the time.

He was ordering her to pull information from Knox's ex-boyfriend, all because she had lied to cover up for him. To protect him and samuel carter. A wave of nausea crawled through her belly into her throat, threatening her to spill her dinner onto the floor.

What had she done?

Her head turned to the side as she peered at Ollie, pulled and screaming against the restraints he was bound to. An innocent man, pulled into this shit because of her.

Summer felt the eyes locked on her as she left the room, walking to the room Ollie was locked in. The door creaked as it opened, and it creaked again as she shut it behind her.

"Ollie."
