After he spoke, sounded just like she had just a few minutes prior, Summer tried to give him a pout. Convey her disappointment. "This was unfair."

But, really, she couldn't hide her excitement as she wiggled underneath him.

Where Casey ran his thumbs against her sides made the skin on her body raise again, followed by her squirming from his tickling. She couldn't help that he knew where she was sensitive at.

"N... Not fair!" Summer gasped out a him, reaching out to grasp his biceps, laughter pouring out of her mouth from his tickling.

Summer arched her back off the bed. "Have mercy on me."

In all honesty, Summer Prescott had no idea how long it had been since she first arrived at Remiel Calcifet's estate.

She had gotten there some time in the evening, after a day's work, to discuss business with the Galarian prince, and then wine was surrounding her. Glasses filled in small amounts to be sampled and tasted, all to make the perfect wine.

One that screamed Prescott.

She was feeling it now, sitting in the chair across from Remy and laughing at something he had just said. Her cheeks were flushed and warm, taking another sample to taste.

"These are all so delicious. I don't know how I will be able to pick the perfect flavor," Summer said, sighing almost wistfully.

Her fingernails tapped against the arm of the chair as she contemplated, though her thoughts were interrupted by a faint crashing noise. Did he hear it too, or was that her imagination?

She sat up straighter in her chair, eyebrows furrowed as she peered over her shoulder.

Summer smirked at his blush, a pleased noise escaping her throat because she had exactly what she wanted. The high ground, control, the ability to make him speechless if she so desired.

"Are you afraid of acting up? What's the harm in it, Casey? I'm the only one here to see it," she whispered against his ear.

She was about to take action, cease her teasing and fully throw herself into what she wanted - to please him. But, when she shifted just an inch, Casey wrapped his arms around her, and she felt her back against the mattress.

A surprised squeak left her mouth as Summer peered up at him, her eyes wide. "C-Casey!"

Summer felt his knee slip behind her, and she pressed back against it to prop herself against, trying to hold her mask of control and dominance over the situation.

Yet, she couldn't help that her cheeks revealed her true feelings, how she felt almost embarrassed and shy.

"Am I acting up?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Her hair followed, obscuring part of her face as she pouted at him. "I don't think I'm doing anything wrong..."

She ran her finger down his chest, tapping along his muscles.

"I think I'm quite good, thank you very much," Summer finished, pressing another firm kiss against his neck. Just to prove her point (even if it really proved otherwise).

Summer couldn't help the laugh that slipped from her lips at his comment, shaking her head. "You wouldn't care what happened to you if I did it, would you?" she prompted, all teasingly.

She would never hurt him. "I could never hurt you, though."

The way Casey said her name was something she wanted more of, whether it was now, later, or forever. Maybe all three. She moved so she was over him, actually able to kiss him properly.

"What? Am I doing something bad?" Summer asked, feigning innocence.

"All I want to do is enjoy my morning with my beau..." A smirk crossed her lips, kissing his jaw in the process.

Summer looked over at Casey as he shifted in the bed, unable to hide the giddy look on her face. She could get used to waking up beside him, seeing his sleeping face come back to life as he woke up again.

His voice sent a child down her spine, goosebumps raising on her skin.

"Very, with you here," she said, her voice a bit lower than normal given it was her first time using it that day. "I hope you were able to stay comfortable last night. Your arm isn't numb?" she asked with a bit of concern.

Summer pondered her options for a moment before turning even more, so she was sliding her arm across his chest and leaning her own chest against his as she raised her head.

"Coffee can wait just a while longer, can't it? I want to enjoy this morning time sleepiness with you for a little bit longer." She smiled, giving him a small kiss while playing with a strand of his hair.

Whoever decided to pair her up with this idiot? They were a fool.

Summer almost brought her headphones with her for their travel to Route 102, to tune out any unnecessary conversation or stupid small talk her companion might bring. But, she might have gotten a bit preoccupied telling Casey Fincher goodbye before leaving home.

Oops.

She could have sworn she ground her teeth flat from the amount of jaw clenching she did, resting her head on her hand as they trekked onward.

Summer opened her eyes when he spoke to her about their supposed charade that he came up with. "Absolutely not," she said, perhaps one of the first real sentences she said to Barnaby.

"You aren't going to tell me what I will be doing, and things will go smoothly. Got it?"

The van came to a stop, and Summer stepped out, practically slamming her door shut. She shot him a glare at his pet name, stepping ahead of him because there would be absolutely no way she'd be seen walking beside him like a lovey-dovey couple.

First, there were drinks handed to her, from Knox, from strangers she didn't know, everyone gave her something to drink. It was probably a terrible idea since she was already pumped full of alcohol and drugs from earlier.

But she was so dazed that she took the shots and the drinks and poured them back.

Summer felt her tugged around by everyone, between dancing and talking to people all too loudly to teasing them with her natural prowess. Because what did she have to lose.

Everything.

A taller man caught her eye, and in her daze, she thought it was Casey. The guy she met picking berries. That had been the only time that they had met, but for some reason, in this drunken haze, she was enraptured with the idea of him.

Why did this guy remind her of him? He didn't look anything like him...

Then she was doing body shots, raising her arms triumphantly in the air as cheers echoed in her ears. "Summer! Summer!" they cheered.

"What?" Summer looked, seeing Knox grabbing her arm. "I'm so drunk." She giggled, leaning against her brother. They'd be lucky if they didn't fall over.

Summer felt the bed shift as he rolled over, and she followed his guided movements onto her side as well. A comforted sigh escaped her lips as she felt his body align against her own, holding her close.

With the blankets over her and his arm tucked over her, she felt like she could truly rest. Be at peace.

"Good night," she said over her shoulder sleepily, scooting as close as she could be against him before falling asleep.

And, it seemed for once, she didn't wake up with the fear of having to kill her brother or have her father hunt down the people she loved. Because when she opened her eyes, sunlight was filtering into the room.

Summer was not used to sleeping throughout the night anymore.

As she shifted, she grunted, turning to lay on her back. A smile coming to rest on her face.

With all of his teasing, all of his prodding blurring her mind, Summer finally broke out of the restraints that her mind had placed her in and took what she wanted.

As Casey demanded her to.

It was his encouragement that gave her the ability to do so, since he appeared to be driven by a force that wanted to see her do this to him. Be domineering, a powerful woman.

But give him love at the same time.

When she was done, Summer opted to roll back on her back, taking a moment to catch her breath as she closed her eyes. Her hand fumbled on the sheets beside her, trying to reach for his. When she found it, she held onto it, opening her eyes again and looking over at Casey.

"Stay with me. Please."

Perhaps she was afraid this was actually all a dream. That when she woke up, he wouldn't be there. But, she wanted his warmth beside her all throughout the night, in case she woke up terrified and screaming of another nightmare.

Maybe he'd get rid of them.

Summer couldn't help a wicked look on her face as she tried to feign some sort of innocence. "I don't know how you got that idea," she teased, shifting her hips beneath him to test out what she could do to potentially regain some control.

Maybe she'd just wait for the right moment.

His hands landed on the bare skin under the hoodie she wore, on her hips. At his whisper, she found it right to slide her hands down to his shoulders...

And push.

With that, Summer tried to roll him onto his back, sitting over him again. She planted her hands on his chest to steady herself for a moment before reaching for the bottom of the hoodie and pulling it over her head.

Abandoned on the floor.

"I am starting to get a little bit desperate, though," she said as she leaned forward, marking his neck like he had just done to her. "You make me feel alive."

She gave her hips a small shimmy, laughing to herself.
