Summer had ignored the people who were ogling her and her boat, but of course, she wasn't surprised in the least when there were screams of pure joy and elation when Callan Young showed up. She merely rolled her eyes and finished her message until he was let loose to her.[break][break]

"It was inheritance from my father's passing. But it was probably around that. I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped that load on it and some more getting it done up the way he wanted it," she said.[break][break]

She led him to the deck, where they were immediately asked if they would like beverages to start their trip. Summer, of course, said yes.[break][break]

"We have a variety of games aboard, a pool, hot tub, and even a small spa area. You're my guest, Callan. I'm only here to entertain." Summer grinned devilishly.

A part of Summer wished she hadn't been so verbal about her disdain about her father. There were uncomfortable truths that she didn't want to share with people. It was hard for her to admit them out loud.[break][break]

Could she say those things to Cade Atreides and still have him care for her in... some form?[break][break]

Her hands idly played with the EEVEE'S fur, distracted for a moment in her own musings as she considered the thought. Until Summer settled with, "I don't agree with many of his business strategies or motions."

Finally, the loud, thunderous clapping subsided. Summer's panic slowly calmed down, and she grew enough courage to slowly peel her hands away from her ears. Her eyes opened, as she realized she wasn't in the spotlight anymore.[break][break]

In fact, she and Cillian Quinn were in what appeared an unground tomb. A catacomb of sorts.[break][break]

There's headstones surrounding them, though Summer couldn't make out the names on them. What she could see what a large crack in the middle of the ground.[break][break]

"A SPIRITOMB..." she murmured to no one in particular, noticing the creature grinning devilishly back at them.[break][break]

As if by temptation, her hand reached forward, reaching to take one of the many spirits that it had in its grasp.

She didn't speak to him again as the rest of their foes converged forward, UNOWN partnered with them. It was beginning to become harder to fend them off, even with Cain's fighting abilities.[break][break]

Though, a blast of HIDDEN POWER struck her, and she felt herself sucked away.[break][break]

When Summer opened her eyes again, she found herself in a room filled with plushies and toys scattered around her. And, unfortunately, Cain was still with her. She partially hoped he'd be sent away from her.[break][break]

"Go apeshit. Enjoy myself." Summer approached the pile of plushies, snatching one up, before throwing it his way. It bounced off him easily before falling onto the floor. So, she grabbed another. And another. And another.[break][break]

"Fine, I'll go apeshit, Cain. How about a few blocks?"

Cain sounded like a maniac as he went full throttle in attacking. Summer, on the other hand, never resorted to violent measures this way. Her way of taking care of business resorted to weaponry, not fists.[break][break]

Unfortunately for her, this simulation didn't have that on her person.[break][break]

She threw a kick forward, attempting to side sweep several of the cult members down as she whirled to face her companion with an annoyed look in her eyes.[break][break]

Summer followed closely beside Barnaby, though she could only tell he was beside her thanks to the flashlight he had in hand. His figure was dimly lit by some of the light, but his hair bled into the darkness.[break][break]

The abyss was dark and never ending. Her head felt full of voices, screaming at her and calming her at the same time. She wanted to run, but they were beckoning her forward into the pit.[break][break]

"I feel like my head is going to explode," Summer answered, her gaze locked forward on the inky path ahead of them.[break][break]

"What?" Summer quickly turned, regarding Cillian with a confused look. A glass wall? Surely not. This all felt like a normal workshop.[break][break]

But as he began to dismantle the walls, one by one, the glass became apparent. There were faces peering back at them, hidden in the shadows. It sent a cold shiver down Summer's spine as her gaze took it all in.[break][break]

"We're a spectacle."[break][break]

As soon as she said it, applause erupted. It grew louder and louder, so loud that it hurt her ears. She covered them, wincing. "Get us out of here!" she said to no one in particular.

Summer looked around the workshop, wrinkling her nose. The amount of clutter and mess there was absurd. They say that geniuses knew where they put everything, in organized chaos, but this?[break][break]

This was definitely more than that.[break][break]

"This is a TEPIG sty. Believe me, Surtur made just as big of a mess before..." Summer grumbled to herself as she wandered toward the workbench.[break][break]

There was a device, with an odd symbol on it. There was no "SILPH" marker on it. So who made it?[break][break]

"I don't know if I trust this thing..." she said, dropping it to the floor with a loud shatter.
