Experience certainly does matter. The old man proved why he was the boss of a huge criminal syndicate, able to keep up even with him and still manage to keep his footwork. If it weren't for the fact that this was Rocket and of the mission at hand, Oliver would be enjoying himself. The Gliscor dodged his Inteleon's attacks and backed off, as did the boss himself, disappearing into mist to cause further shenanigans. Oh, he wished he could continue that bout! But it was what it was. Oliver huffed, and moved back towards the Primal Point to defend it.

TLDR

Ollie enjoys battle.
Is disappointed when it ends.
Moves back towards the Primal Point.

Cheeky bastard. But goes to show that experience counts for something. With his free hand, he returned his astonished pupper. Oliver doesn't let up, and continues the attack with his baton, even during the guy's taunting of Gwyar. Protection? If he wasn't in the middle of trying to push the older man back, the red head would have laughed. And knew what was coming. Oliver spun to the outside and away from the claws of Night Slash, and released his Inteleon. The gecko took aim at the Gliscor, and unleashed a Snipe Shot at it. Even though Oliver would have preferred it to use a different attack. Still, he took the few more steps to close the distance again and started to swing away. All the while, trying to trip up the old man. "Protection? That's funny old man. Hopefully by the end of this exchange, you'll be wary of this young pup as well."

TLDR

Oliver continues his assault on declan walsh and returns Rockruff in the process.
He avoids Gliscor, and sends out Inteleon, who uses Snipe Shot at it.
He quips with the big boss.

SURVEY #1

Visiting every region and being back lots of gifts to my siblings and the orphans she takes care of! Right now, not kicking enough Rocket butt.

My earrings, easy peasy. Some people would say they are unproffesional for a Ranger. I don't care, and until/unless they prove to be a detriment, I will continue to wear them.

Easy, defeat them and send them back home. Likely put them to sleep and then shove them back through the hole they came out of. I don't have a favorite.

Much the same as before. Cry, bury them, and try to move on. No much to really tell.

Soft features, I want a pretty boy hanging of my arm! That said, I'd give much any guy a chance if they're nice enough or if we have similar interests. No Rocket sympathizers though.

Not caves. I can live pretty much in any place besides that. Outdoors is preferred, so any house I have would have to have lots of windows and open space.

Dragon, easy. Maybe flying too, since nothing feels as exilerating as darting through the sky on the back of my Dragonite at incredible speed. While also having the power and resolve to take on just about anything.

Seeing Rockets in general. More so if I witness them actually doing some harm. Just taking a step back and breath and think the next few actions out rationally helps me out.

I like them because...they're so fascinating! And they're an integral part of our lives and ecosystems. I own Pokemon to help me with my job, though I've also helped my first two babies, now very big babies.

Stomping Rocket into nonexistence, rehabilitating members whose crimes weren't terribly bad, orphans, etc. Oh, and maybe becoming a leader of a branch. And maybe some good looking dudes once in a while.

So far, it was a success. A Hypno came out onto the field, with Stealth Rock doing it's job. That was...until Gywar's sword went through the man, and he turned into mist. That was interesting...he'd read that Avatars had powers, but had yet to actually witness it. "Crunch." The little pupper darted across the field, and with dark fangs, attempted to Crunch onto the Psychic's leg...and toss it into the hillside. Little he may be, but he was a strong pupper, and hopefully between the Dazzling Gleam and the dark type attack, it would lay down some serious hurt on it. Problem was, where was the Rocket boss?

Gwyar's eyes landed him. No, behind him! Taking out his collapsable baton, Oliver spun to strike the Rocket Boss in the head. Even though he was a fit young man, this old coon had some tricks up his sleeve. The odd thought did come to his mind that maybe Walsh couldn't do that very often. He hoped that was the case.

TLDR

Sees Gwyar Wledig's attack fail. Also sees the switch and attack against Hypno.
Hypno gets hit by Stealth Rock, and uses Taunt.
Rockruff goes in for the Crunch.
Oliver spins on his heel to strike directly at declan walsh with his collapsable baton.

Oliver considered switching to Inteleon, having the advantage then. But his partner had a different idea. With Stealth Rock set up, some free damage done to whoever the Boss is forced out next, but it seemed Gywar had a different idea. One that mirrored his earlier thoughts. Several things started to happen all at once, as the shield started to crack. When the time was right, he spoke the command. "Roar!" With a surprisingly loud and booming roar from his little pupper, it blew away the scorching earth and pushed his partner forward in a blinding light, hopefully blinding both Nidoking and the boss, plus forcing the 'King back to its pokeball. His partner went in for the kill.

Oliver wasn't the murderious type, but he could still appreciate the man's style. They could get along quite well, he felt. But how well will this plan work?

TLDR

Oliver listens to Gywar's plan.
He executes it, Rockruff using Roar at the perfect moment. Hopefully will force a switch into Stealth Rock
He watches Gwyar Wledig go forth to attack Boss declan walsh

Gywar didn't seem to mind. As the shadows retreated and formed into a man...Oliver showed a predatory grin. Oh, this was going to be fun. The most infamous man around. Of course, the red head had read about the leader of Team Rocket. Time to bring his A-game! Gywar started with comments. And with a snap of Ollie's fingers, Rockruff started to glow brownish. The ground would shake momentarily as a trail of spears of stone emerged from the ground to stab at the Nidoking. The 'King didn't wait around either, sending a blast of scorching sand at the duo.





Nevertheless, the Aegislash used King's Shield to protect them all. Oliver knew Aegislashes had terrifying offenses and defenses with its Stance Change, but even he wondered how well the steel type ghost handled a super effective hit like that. This was the boss of rocket, so he half wondered how strong he really was. Still, that Nidoking was a bit too close to the man for his liking. Once they were more seperated, and maybe even understood the Pokemon's movements more, he could go in and pound the guy. But the opportunity needed to present itself...

TLDR
Oliver waited for the fight to begin.
Rockruff uses Stone Edge on Nidoking.
All four of them are protected by King's Shield.

Even in the fog, he saw something...ominous coming forth from all the way by the Primal Point. And Gwyar Wledig going to meet them. A wretched feeling in his gut told him to go help. And the red head stepped up beside the man with Rockruff at the ready, probably good to get away from it anyways, even if it was protected by Stealth Rocks. The little rock pupper yipped and growled. With a quick pat on the little guy's head, he spoke a little. "Set up another Stealth Rock here. Rockruff will support you here...something...ominous I think is coming. Best to double team it."

The bad boy stood there with his little pupper. Not very intimidating...but with Stealth Rock there, combined with Roar, his little pupper was tougher than it looks. But still, something really didn't seem right to him. And his old boss always told him to listen to your gut.

TLDR

Oliver moves from Primal Point to where Gwyar is at.
Rockruff is still out, and uses Stealth Rock

Oliver stayed pretty stoic throughout the whole ordeal. Though the thought that this was probably the most disgusting thing he had ever encountered crossed his mind. It even beat the scenario when he had to jump a cliff, and landed in a pile of fecal matter. Much like the previous hand transformation, the Pokemon's paw mirrored his Dragonite's head, and then fired his Hyper Beam at the wall. After the exclaimation that they were not still enough, Oliver shrugged. He took out some rations after doing a quick once over his buddy, and started to eat. This thing was one odd creature. But he wasn't going to pick a fight with it. Instead, he'll let it do its thing. It didn't answer his questions, and was solely focused on getting out. "There are rumors that we have a plan to get rid of both the incoming meteor and this wall. If you can give me some time, I can update you on what it is?" Oliver didn't expect much. So he'll just wait to see how it reacted.


FERNANDO SILPH

Oliver got yeeted off his cliff from the harsh scream and ground trembling. He had stayed put after seeing DEREK HOFFMAN approach the former gym leader to arrest him. Looking around, he didn't see anyone that needed any help as of yet. So he figured he was just guard the Primal device. Not knowing who or what else was in the fog. He just ran towards it. Upon getting there, he had his Rockruff use another Stealth Rock around it. Just in case someone slips by him. Now just to keep his eyes out for whoever else was lurking in the fog...

TLDR

Oliver gets tossed from his perch, but gets up and is now by the Primal Point.
Rockruff uses Stealth Rock to surround the point so it's protected.
Oliver has yet to lock eyes with someone.

The Pokemon absorbed Dragonite! Oliver wasn't expecting that, nor did was his buddy. Powerful as he was, surprise can do a lot to weaken someone. After some struggling, the merger was complete. For now. "Uh...Dragonite...you there...you...good?" With a very characteristic thumbs up from the merged Pokemon, Oliver knew he was in there, and at least had some control. Maybe not total control, but at least some. Folding his arms, and staring at the new hybrid creature, he deadpan mentioned what he was thinking. "And you call the barrier unnatural? What are you? Serious question. Ditto may transform into a Pokemon, but it can't outright absorb another Pokemon or combine their power like this." It was vary wierd and off-putting. Especially the new form.

Still, if they combined their strength...well, not to brag, but his buddy is quite the beast. Both of them combined like this? Well, he hoped they could form a crack in the barrier.


FERNANDO SILPH

Oliver Shrakes stood by some steps, with him a crew of Rangers. DEREK HOFFMAN wasn't far below him, and Callan Young even closer to him. Armed with some non-standard ranger gear, he was ready for his first major confrontation with Rocket in Hoenn. He'd made it clear that if any flank was struggling, he could make it there in a jiffy with his Dragonite. It didn't take long though, for the syndicate to make their move. Callan was the first to see it, and used Misty Terrain. Further down, another trainer was doing the same. And Derek had used Defog to get rid of it some. Oliver still stayed still, ready whenever the time came.  Callan suggested a scout. Unfortunately, he didn't have anything like that...closest was Yamper or Rockruff, but even his rocky buddy didn't have oder sleuth or anything, so he stayed put. And so...he had another idea.

Taking out a Pokeball, Ollie sent out his Rockruff. The pupper yipped at Oliver, who spoke up. "Hey buddy, use Stealth Rock and make this place a bit hazardous for unwelcomed surprises." After a few more yipps, the rocky pupper hopped and set out a layer of rocks that would attack any enemy that gets past Callan and Derek. It was then the rain started, and a civilian in the form of Tempest Quinn can be heard on Derek's side. Taking out his handcuffs, the red head waited to see if anyone would try to arrest the former gym leader. If not...well, then Oliver would start on the trek to do so...

Waits to see if anyone will go arrest Tempest Quinn, will try to do so if no one makes a move towards him. Moves to G4?
