He raised his eyebrows at his date, but nevertheless grins as she takes the lead. He doesn't seem to mind, paying up for the tickets before going in with Mila. They don't separate, and he keeps close to here as the mirror go from blank to hundreds of repeats of them both. [break][break]

"It's brighter than I thought it'd be-" he said before she forced him against the mirror. Not that he resists, pink flushing cheeks and a hand already holding her face as tongue and tongue meet. His other slides to her ass, cupping one cheek as they kiss. He waits for a moment to breath before letting out a hoarse laughing and speaking quickly, "You know other people can see us...right?" Half of him thinks she knows and is doing is for exactly that reason.

The elephant seemed a little better now. He smiled as he caught a peek of her dancing before his eyes returned to the water types performing. "I did. Figured I'd check out the carnival since I missed it when it was in Lillycove." he said with a nod. [break][break]

"I'll stay then." he said before pointing over at the Ferris Wheel. "Let's do that next. Get a full bird's eye of the place." he suggested, his footsteps already beginning to lead in that direction. He passes by a couple cheering loudly at the DUGTRIO-RING-TOSS game and just barely dodges the boyfriend pump the air, and almost him.

As he manages to ding bumper cars out of the way as he barrels towards Illie. A CARNIVAL PERFORMACE passing through near the bumper cars doesn't do much to distract him from his goal. But just before he can slam her back, some other person smacks him away from her. His cars skids away, smacking into the wall, only to be slammed into it a second time by another car, victim to a different one. [break][break]

By the time he manages to get near Illie again, the cars die down and their time is over. He gets out, wobbles a little to the exit before turning to his companion. "Fun right?" he said as they got out of the little arena. "Wanna try that weird Pendulum swiong? Or a game?"

After several minutes of feeling gravity pushing him against the wheel and screaming his head off, they stop and he's panting a little. The adrenaline flows easily. Paxton takes a moment to make sure he won't eat shit on his bambi legs walking off, before following Mila. He follows her gaze to the MAGIKARP FISHING GAME but she doesn't seem to take much interest. More disdain than anything. [break][break]

"Another extreme ride? Or wanna try the House of Mirrors next?" A quick intermission before the next heart pounding thing.

Breakfast as donuts? It's more likely than you think. It's good enough. A little too sweet, but Paxton scarfs down two without issue and wipes his fingers on a napkin he crumples up and pockets. He snorts Navy 's question before nodding along with Gunner Graves . "When it's everyone as the same rank, things can get a bit heated. Fun to watch form the sidelines thou-..." he trails off feeling the quaking before he hears it. [break][break]

The radio starts getting frenzied, with multiple people reporting in. No sight of anything even as- The sound of screaming and something wet rings in his ears. Paxton's eyes go wide as Joules shrieks and Paxton tries to avoid the earth that cracks open and shoots out beautiful, sharp crystals pulsing with soft light. They take a scuff, banging off and floating into another crystalline spire. Paxton smacks his back into one as wet and while a bit sharp, he avoids mortal injury for now. [break][break]

Even without the radio there's screaming. People were getting impaled. He whips his head around. "Navidson! Graves!" he shouts, the people clsoest to him before the spires and crystal wall propped up. He darts away form the crystal, should it become sentient asnd impale him for simply leaning on it. "Graves! Did you see where Navidson went?" He grabs Gunner's arm, hand like a vice. He hated surprises. A good once over Gunner and he couldn't see any major gushing of blood or bone sticking out. [break][break]

He's relieved. But only partially. "I think I heard rocks- earth shattering? falling?" His other hand raises to his comms. "This is Officer Concordas requesting status updates from all posts." he waits, looking back Gunner. "I'm not sure if this is terrorist related or not- but I know people are injured. The League's finest will be fine." He didn't really care about super powered avatars or elite trainers. They'd experienced enough combat. They'd be fine. [break][break]

He worried more for their colleagues, subordinates. People who could be bleeding out that instant. They needed to move quickly.

Paxton stands in the sidelines watching the Carny come over and check in with the poor trainer pair. He does his best to help, quietly offering Lucy something not as cold. Maybe it'd help. She seemed busy nuzzling into her trainer though which is fair. When they the brain freeze melts he takes another bite of his caramel Applin. [break][break]

"Ah, poor girl." he said offering nothing but a small huff of a laugh and a small smile as he looked down at the steel type. He turns back to Audric, blinking slowly before nodding. "Yeh- well, I was a part timer." he explained. [break][break]

"I used to pick up a lot of Ranger shifts since I worked for the Lillycove City PD." he explained. "I don't do much field work nowadays. I'm more admin since I'm a liaison for them and the Council." A duty that was coming up more and more often these days. "They weren't powerful enough to reach me." Paxton countered as he stepped into the safehouse, his hand brushes on top of Reiner's head, giving him a quick scratch before he's soon preoccupied with Eris. [break][break]

He jumps him, not that he minds, but he lets out a sudden grunt all the same. "Glad. T'see. You're full of energy today." It's a good contrast. It's healthier than before. Though, he wasn't sure what the catalyst was. Maybe the League was making a break through. He could only hope it was doing something for her. [break][break]

Paxton reaches back his arms, adjusting her as he begins to carry here on his back around the home with a few more grunts. "Have you eaten?"
