The admission places her exactly where he'd thought she'd been. He mulls it over and sits across from her after giving Reiner another pet. He lets her eat, quiet as he observed her. "Yeah?" he asked as she speculated. Or well, made a very educated, probably very correct guess given her background. [break][break]

He glances at the rest of the home, notes its lived in, cozy. As much as he despises the other occupant in this home. At least can keep an eye on her. There's basics in the fridge. Not a lot of fresh food. He manages to find a half eaten jar of peanut butter and some bread. That would do for now. He sets to work, quietly listening to her talk. He doesn't need to ask about the dream. He knows it. He remembers it himself. He still hasn't spoken to luciano fisk about it. Frankly, he's scared to. It sounded really crazy to anybody that hadn't experienced it. At least, that the impression his therapist seemed to have, until reports of possibly other people that'd fallen into Galar saying the same things. [break][break]

As trainer struggles with partner, he holds up his phone for her. "I can send it to you too." he suggested after she was done flashing pics of her pokemon. He nods, not really ready to buy anything yet. He'd looked around but wasn't super content with any of his choices. He needed to mull it over somewhat. "Sure. Nice to meet you, Sansa." "And of course. Caribert." he added. "Let's chat then. Ask me anything." he suggested as they strolled away towards some games. "Are you new in Hoenn?" he asked, slowing down to look over the prizes for a GUESS HOW MANY THERE ARE. This one seemed like a huge cylinder full of jelly beans. "Hold on- wanna play with me?" he added nodding at the little booth before grinning as he held out two tickets for the booth owner. He's already filling out a card for a guess.

He ends up in the souvenir shops first this time. He'd forgotten to grab a souvenir the last time he'd gone to the carnival, but this time he made sure to visit the JOYLAND POP-UP booths. It's everything he thought it would be. Colorful. Kitschy. Some things are cheaply made and others seem to have quality to them. [break][break]

He just wants something simple. A magnet would do. Or a keychain. [break][break]

He's not so sure he can commit to the pokemon styles hoodies. Nor was he so sure of the quality that he was willing to spend that much money on them. He wanted to be able to wear them after all. As he shuffles around, he bumps into someone else at the shop and quickly looks at them and apologizes. "Sorry- I was trying to read the ticket prices." he said to Sansa Arouet.

MASK MAKING (CARNIVAL)

Paxton goes for ather simple for his mask, picking something that resembles one of the many different designs of a Yamask's mask. Sure, its a little somber, but he jsut wants a quick memento and he just likes the way the color looks. Plus, even if he tended to care for steel types, Yamask were still pretty cute.

The bad reaction doesn't unnerve him. In fact it makes him snicker, and grin. "Not a cat person?" he asked, as he took his change back for the balloon. He takes it anyway finding the balloon cat a fun memento. Until it would eventually pop of course. [break][break]

"Oh hell yeah!" he said paying in tickets for him and Mila before hoping into a car opposite end of Mila. "Get ready!" he warned, waiting for the lights to turn from red to green. Once it does, he slams on the gas and skids towards her ready to slam her backwards against other unfortunate drivers.

Paxton doesn't get too far without noting a TUG-O-WAR contest in the background. And, as tempting as that is, he thinks his companions for the day probably wouldn't enjoy it. If the Cuphant was as skittish as he'd seen, she might get nervous around it. So he passes, turning to look for Audric once he gets to the Ferris Wheel before watching him jog closer. [break][break]

"Oh good, you didn't ditch." he teased with a snort before tearing off a ticket to hand over to the attendant. "Ferris Wheel." he confirmed as they were led onto a colorful blue ball with a large clear top half. The seats are a comfortable, worn in vinyl material. He slides right in as they began to ascend. "I like rides, but I think Ferris Wheels are my favorite." And not just because of one strange reporter.

He snorts, surprised she agreed so quickly. He looks in the mirror wiping away any lipstick as best as he can before following her out. It takes some time, but eventually they make it out of the house of mirrors. [break][break]

Before he can catch a break Mila is already dragging him around again. Once again, he doesn't resist before looking over the assortment of animals and then picking on out. He glances over at Mila, giving her another once over before deciding on a pokemon. "Can I get a Purrloin one?" he asked handing over some cash before nodding at the purple cat for her.
