He hits. He knows he has. The person is pushed back but there's no spray of blood. They don't fall to the ground. Kevlar? Body armor? He frowned. What the hell kind of body armor were they packing? The casing goes flying out of his rifle and he begins to load another round when the Gengar moves into view. [break][break]

"Shit!" He hissed. Arber is returned but he doesn't have time , Paxton is already grabbing his rifle and running. He half slings it on his shoulders ass he takes off as the Z MOVE slams into the edge of the roof. The building rumbles following the explosion. [break][break]

The roof starts to tilt downwards and he desperately pats himself for Hopper's pokeball. The Porygon beeps erratically as gravity shifts and Paxton began struggling to stay on his two feet as the roof caves into the top from and sloughed off the side into the streets. Before Paxton can drop, Hopper TELEPORTS him to a different roof. It's not another nest but at least he's no longer falling off the roof top. [break][break]

The police as moving Winifred out, pulling her into a safe have and covering her under the flames and bubbles of pokemon to push back the Rocket swarm. [break][break]

"Escorting Fenwick to Rally Point Alpha!" the static filled comms go off as Paxton catches him breath. "Hopper, TRI ATTACK!" he ordered as he scrambled to the edge to find Zev Harcourt again and try another shot. "Engaging in suppressive fire!" he said into his radio if it even still worked as he tried to lock on to them through the chaos and the smoke from the last attack.

"In my investigation with Councilwoman PENELOPE LIVY , I found the Blight was a little unnatu-" his words are cut off as he heard sudden stomping and the bushes rustling to his side. Before Paxton can give the order, a furious Gogoat pounces out of the shrubbery and goes straight for Paxton. "Shit!" he shouted as the grass type rammed horns forward. Paxton squares his stance, lowering his center of gravity. Gloved hands latch onto the horns and he digs his heels in to the dirt, sliding back a few inches as the Gogoat groaned furiously. Paxton's feet go flat on the ground before he dips down and up, yanking the pokemon's head to the side after a fierce push and pull. He follows through with a defiant shout, half shoving, half tossing the off balance pokemon to the side and stood panting. "Stay put!" he snarled, loud and tired. As Oliver Shrakes continued, Paxton tapped his chin thoughtfully. "Like a Ditto? It morphs it's body....Like you'd expect a Ditto to?" he asked trying to clarify the picture in his head. He didn't recall that cat thing doing that in front of him and illeana reyes . "Arceus and the DRK Triad would make sense based on the name but..." It may just also be generic. "No, I don't think it's crazy. I just don't know how likely. A manmade pokemon?" Then again, the creatures that were made out of scrap after the Wilds expeditions had begun in earnest. "Then again, it's not a creature within our records. So it could've been created. That's also not impossible." he added, sighing as he finally flipped through Luka's report. "It's dangerous, but it seemed focused on escaping the Dome which may mean it's long gone now. I think perhaps synthesizing our reports and putting out a directive to the Rangers would be a good start. Just to be aware. As far as I know, it hasn't shown itself near populated areas, correct?"

Paxton's focus stays on the strange, almost grinning robotic creature. For a moment he blinks, cold as he recognized that thing. Shining, glittering lights seemed to push back and blind those closest to the action. Arber yelps in surprise giving Paxton just enough time to close his eyes against the worst of the flash before opening it back up and squinting as he urged his vision to level out. "Fuck, my sight picture-" he hissed, grip tight on the rifle as he takes aim as the unknown assailant. He sucks breath in, holding it tight as he yanks back on the trigger. Security moves to cover the woman, while Paxton eyes the crowd as it begins dispersing. A spot of purple moves forward on the shadows. It flashes, gas surrounding it and pulsing outward as it seemed to double its efforts to hasten the reactions. [break][break]

"Cassidy, firing at a source of gas." He warned as he locked in on the strange creature, the cover of the crowd dissipating as more and more people choked on it. He pulls back the trigger aiming towards the red flashing on the front of the thing's body.
