"i have the opposite problem.." she grumbles, softly. she's not jealous that he can bake, don't look at her. although she has her cooking going for her, her baking is.. baking.. isn't something she can understand. it's too meticulous, and we don't talk about the time she read "a third of a cup" as "three cups", don't look at her. she takes another bite of the cookie, and she enjoys it, truly. though the soft red hue on her cheeks make it obvious when he asks her, and she's hesitant to talk about it. he's tasted the cookies himself; he knows that they're good. "mmn.. i like them." she mumbles, taking another bite. she takes care to finish it before speaking "i hate to admit it, but.. it's really good."

"mm.. and that's exactly why i wanted to bring you here." she knows, well of his upbringing (or at least, bits and pieces, from what she was able to gather). she understands that it.. must have been a bit foreign to him, especially since she was lucky enough to have been brought in by a kindly old man - not everyone is that lucky. so she hums, softly, before reaching to take his hand as the other holds her own cotton candy up by her head. ".. i think i have an idea as to where we could go, though. i think you'll enjoy it~" or she'll regret showing him, either or. and so she leads him and they walk, down the pavement. she's sure that she saw it somewhere.. ah, yes. there it is. they come to a stop around a larger roof, and the sound of soft revving could be heard from the pit of bumper cars. childish as it looked, she still smiles and tilts her head towards the little arena. "have you rode on bumper cars before?"

"i know.." and she hates that she knows. she hates that he knows that she knows. moving on, she hopes, she glances to the song list and notes the particular one he picked. one that.. yes, she was actually quite familiar with. it concerns her when she knows how much they actually have in common. "ah.. yeah, i know this one." she blinks a few times, trying to recover from the slight scarlet. then she reaches across to the table, taking one microphone and handing him the other. "it still surprises me a bit, when you pull up a song that we both know."

the primarina smiles hearing her whistling being reciprocated (finally, she thinks, someone who won't get angry at her for whistling. at least *his* trainer was more understanding of her need for music). though she stays waiting in the water as fiora pulls the mask over her lips and nose, also pulling her goggles over her eyes and hair back into into the headpiece. she doesn't want her hair getting damaged, after all. "mmn.. make sure to stay close, alright?" the woman stands on the boat, then drops herself into the water with the primarina - though doesn't leave without her partner, and she waits for him to join them before the primarina offers her other flipper to the man. she can swim with only her tail.

now that's just unfair, playing to her sweet tooth. he knows that she's a weakness for pastries, and so he deliberately decided to make some for her. she raises her hand as her gaze is on the cookies, before (reluctantly) taking one and raising it up to take a bite. then she pauses, and lets the taste sink in. her brows furrow as her eyes narrow to the side, away from him.[break][break]

".. i didn't know you could bake." she grumbles after finishing her bite, only to take another. damn him, and her own sweet tooth.

"i was about to say" she takes the tie from her teeth, rolling it to her fingers as she tugs it and pulls her hair through the tie a few times "if you weren't, i could have called out chengqing to help~" she knows that it would probably put a damper to his pride, and there's a part of her that does this on purpose. a form of revenge for all the time he's been so shameless to her. with his second wind coming to pass, she presses on and has little trouble picking up in the walk alongside him. "yeah~.. i'm a little surprised, though" she smiles, head tilting back a bit to let the light breeze hit her face as it starts to pick up "i didn't think you'd invite me out to a hike." a deep inhale, then a sigh of relief "... it's honestly really nice~."

"at least if they're angry, it means they still have energy to do things.." she's pensive, trying to conjure up something - anything - that could help their.. predicament. in the end, she pushes through the door, glancing back to dalyong as he follows behind "for now, it would be best to try gauge the situation." they arrive, and are briefed by the breeder to get a better idea of.. the situation. though even the breeders don't seem to know what the problem is, and she sighs "looks like we have to figure this out on our own.." she mumbles, walking into the room of the pangoro. [break][break]

and when she pushes through, she sees the two pandas.. on the opposite sides of the room, almost.. sulking? neither were explosive, or seemed lazy, but..[break][break]

"... confirm with me real quick." she gently tugs a man's arm, tilting her head and gesturing to the pangoro "do they look like they're sulking to you, too?"

and snarky, and cheeky as ever. he's smiling and humouring her, though there's.. slight dissatisfaction as she maintains her gaze on him. what was it? what was it that she didn't like? it frustrates her that she can't put her finger on it, and yet her intuition is very subtly alarming her. she'll figure it out. instead, she tugs him over to the cotton candy truck - which doesn't have much of a line, thankfully, as the other faire-goers were more occupied by the attractions and rides. she takes a stick of swirlix-shaped cotton candy from the man at the truck, and.. it was definitely too much for her to finish. so she rips off a small piece, holding it up to the man in the gengar ears. "have you figured out what you wanted to ride, yet?" she smiles, holding the small piece her little movements making the pichu ears sitting on her head bounce. "i'm good either way, but there's one thing i wanna go on around sunset.."

although they were in a relationship now, and the start of any sort of relationship came from their shared taste for music, she's still hesitant. after all, it's embarrassing, even if they had sang together, in the past. the red stretches to her cheeks all the same, as does it dip her ears in a shade of crimson. "i assume that you're going to insist either way?" her eyes narrow, and she starts to lean over to take a gander at thesong list with a soft sigh escaping her lips. "... have you at least found something we could sing?" she intends for it to be together. although he's heard her sing solo, it was more.. comforting to sing with him. [break][break]

she'd sooner turn in her grave than admit that, though.

difficult to deal with! even though she's at least grown.. somewhat accustomed to his flirtatious behaviour, it doesn't change how easily flustered she gets when he puts so much attention on her. she's an officer, not a performer.. there was no need for him to keep his eyes on her like that. but she knows that by reacting, he'll have more of a reason to be amused, and more of a reason to smile at her misery. she hates it here. she's gazing into the water, over the wooden boat they've been told to stay in, until they reached their destination. his comment on her water pokemon is responded with said pokemon being released in the water, the primarina letting out a happy whistle into the air, bring in a familiar environment. "oh, trust me. mingqiu has been rearing to finally come out into the water." she smiles slightly, leaning against the boat to pat the water pokemon's head. [break][break]

though she quirks a brow at the mention of a certain bird ".. she's gotten him that angry at her?" though she knows that mingqiu is a little.. overbearing and stubborn, she didn't think he'd be quivering in anger in his pokeball at the mention of her name ".. huh. too bad for her, because she feels the opposite way."

her head tilts slightly as he pats her cheek, though they grow all the rosier at his touch. curse her, for being so sensitive and aware of contact. of his contact. still, she moves if only to be considerate of the people behind them, only then to blankly stare at the man holding up the - admittedly - beautiful pendant. "i can put it on myself, you know.." the rosy hue deepens across her face as she raises. her arms and bunches her hair up with both hands. [break][break]

"ugh, fine!" the primarina whistles in disappointment and frustration alike, though raising a flipper and motioning it downwards. "but could you at least calm down with flapping your wings, for a second?" she tilts her head to the smaller bunch of baby pokemon, sitting in the daycare.[break][break]
