[attr="class","textbody"] As expected, the LIGHTNING ROD was quick to trigger once the Zeroara raced towards him. Electricity was easily zapped up by the ability, but like a cup of water that spilled over when it was too full, the incoming electrical damage caused the gigantic Pikachu agony as it became too overzealous for the Pikachu to maintain.

[break][break] But it was too late. The energy pummeled against him and Tofu let out a groan of pain, as green energy surged around him in a last fail-safe attempt at a TRAILBLAZE. Vines and leaves grew underfoot in an attempt to tangle the Zeroara, but it was likely too late.

[break][break] The Beedrill was fast — too fast. At close distance, Tofu didn't stand a chance against the other pokemon's TWIN NEEDLE attack.

[break][break] "Hey!" Ollie shouted in an attempt to get the electric-type's attention. "Get away before you're poisoned!"

[break][break] Tofu ducked his head in an attempt to dodge the attack. One of them needled him the side, sending him barreled towards the ground. The Pokemon winced as he felt the poison flood through him, before releasing a DISARMING VOICE in attempt to put some distance between the both of them.

[break][break] There's an urgency in his voice that is not usually equipped with his easygoing, cheerful demeanor. It causes Tofu to jerk away, rolling just in time to get flattened by that torrent of vicious flame. He breathes hard, squeezing his body against the floor, just as Ollie raises his arm. DYNAMAX energy is suddenly triggered, wisps of light surging from his band and then towards his partner, which causes the electric-type to triple in size.

His body propels forward against the pavement before he can gain control of himself, paws planted hastily against the pavement as he scrambled to regain balance.

[break][break] It seems like deja vu all over again, someone using his attacks against him. But there's no helping it. The ME FIRST is quick as lighting and twice as powerful, cutting through Tofu's own. Luckily his LIGHTNING ROD ability comes into effect, allowing him to absorb the superpowered energy.

[break][break] It is still a tad painful, though.

[break][break] "You gotta be quick, bud. Get in close!"

[break][break] TRAILBLAZING forward, the Tofu darts forward. His body is a speedy blur as he leaps across the field, vines and grass gathering underfoot, before he aims a clever headbutt at the other's chest.
