Sunny didn't have to wait very long. Looking up the moment her name was called, meeting the gaze of Ollie a smile developed naturally. "That's me!" Answering with a nod she observes the taller man - slightly charmed by his heights and captivating charm. Seeing his rank as a captain was somewhat surprising. Adjusting her mannerism to be more professional she addressed him once more "Ready to go whenever you are captain."

Given that they'd already met, Sunny saw no point in splitting up. It could also be dangerous - she had no idea what paldean pokemon were capable off. Unbuckling a pokeball from her belt with a click and flash her swampert is released from it's pokeball. She smiles back at Remiel I have no doubt in your abilities, Remiel" The only concern Sunny had was that she wouldn't be able to handle what they discover, and because of her lack of judgement the ambassador would be put in harms way.

Sunny takes the lead, as the pair ventured deeper into the forest - the denser the smoke became. As a precaution she pulled out two masks that blocked out the smoke. Passing one back to Remiel in case he didn't have one of his own, a sudden piercing cry caused her to jolt a little. The cry was strangely familiar; some aspects of it sounded like a tauros but it wasn't quite the same.

The sound of distant hooves was closing in on them at a rapid speed. Before realizing it a herd of paldean tauros had surrounded them, sparks of flames ignited under their hooves as they slowly but surely set their surroundings ablaze. While their sheer number was overwhelming, Sunny managed to keep it together and directed a command to her swampert.

"Rain Dance!" With graceful movements a pocket of clouds appeared overhead causing a steady rainfall.

Remiel Calcifet

At first she was rather alarmed, while she was expecting others to be around Sunny didn't think she'd be approached. Turning her head she realizes that Genevieve was also a ranger given they were both wearing the uniform. Her nerves fade away upon the bright smile Genevieve had painted on her lips.

"That'd be fantastic! " Sunny replies eagerly nodding, she returned the smile with her own. "It's so nice to meet ya Genevieve! I'm a ranger as well." Honestly Sunny was so relieved that Genevieve was here, she didn't want to admit it but it was getting frustrating not finding anything. However with two pairs of eyes Sunny was confident that they would find something!

"So I'm searching for Tera Shards! I'm assuming you heard what those are right? apparently we can find them on the ground, but I still haven't managed to find anything. Have you had any luck?"

Genevieve Cromwell

Recently a remarkable phenomenon has been occurring across Hoenn. Pokemon were able to terastallize gaining new abilities that normally wouldn't be possible for them. It was determined that they were able to gain these powers through tera orbs and shards, which is why Sunny found herself searching on the outskirts of oldale. There were reports of such findings within the area, and she was eager to try and find a orb for her own pokemon.

Brushing back red hair from her eyes, she began to pout. "No luck yet, but I'm not giving up!" Giving herself a quick pep talk she pumped her arms and continued the search.

While she heard some gossip floating around the ambassador, Remiel was far from what Sunny had pictured. She always thought of him to be a snooty type of guy but was rather surprised at the charm he conveyed. "I guess you can be forgiven." She jokes with bubbly laughter. Extending her hand to give the ambassador a handshake, lips form a delighted smile "Well Remiel, please call me Sunny." It felt strange to address him only by his name, but Sunny didn't want to upset him by ignoring the request

Drawn by the scent of smoke, she briefly adverts her gaze. Her focus shifting towards the distant clouds of black smoke - the fire was progressing quicker than anticipated. "I didn't see any of the rumored paldean pokemon so far, have you seen anything suspicious?"

It was hard to believe her eyes.

That the quaint oldale she knew before had turned into this - a desolate frozen landscape. Sure the transformation was crazy enough, but seeing snow for the first time was also pretty bewildering. Dressed in a thick winter gear she wanders the silent icelands, a gloved hand reaching for some snow for the first time. She still felt the cold sensation while wearing gloves, and even laughed while feeling the texture of it. "This is just, insane." She says aloud, unconcerned if there were others nearby.

Sunny tried to see the positives in the drastic changes, avoiding direct eye contact with ice-coffins that contained dead pokemon.

CIAN MAHER

There have been way to many fires around hoenn lately. And nearly not enough rangers to put them out, after meteno happened. Guilt still ate away at her for not participating but an earlier injury kept her in a bunker. Those who were injured do not have a place on the field, if anything she would've been a burden. Wandering throughout the woods, Sunny was on high alert - there was another reason why she was sent out here. Which was the recent discovery of never seen before pokemon, scientists were calling them paldean pokemon.

According to reports, it was likely that the newcomers were the cause of the recent forest fires.

Hearing nearby rustling Sunny grips onto her pokeball, prepared to send out her pokemon only to be surprised by a somewhat familiar pokemon Galarian meowth. Upon spotting it she couldn't hold back her audible gasp, offering it a meek smile while glancing around the area to look for it's trainer.

It was almost immediate recognition when she noticing the meowth's trainer. Greeting him with a respectful bow, she answers in the most polite tone she could manage. "Yes I'm Cadet Clarke. Please don't apologize, it's my fault for not noticing sooner. Honored to meet you here, Sir.Calcifet" Sunny couldn't help but blush when meeting his gaze, his charm was just so captivating. The Galarian ambassador was also the last person she expected to see out in these woods.

"Just a small burn, I'll be fine!" Sunny acknowledges Wren's concern swiftly applying first aide by wrapping her injury with a non-stick bandage. She winces but pushes tries to keep the pain out of mind as that was the least concerning matter. She shouts towards her swampert to catch his attention, motioning towards the rampaging pokemon afterwards. "Water Pulse! pulses of water is blasted towards the salamence while her lombre remains fighting the flames taking the lead to give grover a break.

She gives Wren a concerned look when he sustains the injury. They had to get this under control fast, to avoid further danger to them and their pokemon. Sunny's swampert follows junipers lead, also using a muddy water attack towards the salamence. Seemed that the dragon type sustained heavy damage from their combined attacks. Releasing another roar, it attempted to flee by flying into the smokes but the rampaging seemed to halt.

His statement left her clueless, it was difficult for her to see what exactly the problem was due to the smoke and flames. However Sunny also wanted to help it, she doubted it would be on a rampage for no good reason. "Maybe we can stop it by putting it asleep? none of my pokemon are able to do that though!" She communicates while coughing due to the smoke inhalation.

She didn't know any other methods to stopping it, other than putting it to sleep.

She's relieved to see that Finn was quick to get over the rejection. Sunny would have felt awful if Hazel's eevee remained depressed due to her pokemon's lack of friendliness. Her gaze watches Finn as he zips past to chase the ball that was thrown into the lake "Don't know what you mean, that was a pretty good throw." She reassures hazel with smile - enjoying the sight of their pokemon playing and relaxing together.

She is surprised yet again listening to Hazel talk about the shop. It was difficult for her to imagine what it was like to run a store - she assumed it was exhausting. "When do you get a brea-" Words cut off by a sudden interruption of the hoppip, Sunny giggles quickly realizing what was happening. "How adorable!" Sunny says ecstatically a nod in agreement to Hazel's comment about her sandwich. "It's gotta be both!" She jokes happily, a sudden idea coming to mind.

"Hey rotom come on out~" Within a flash a rotomphone zips out of Sunny's backpack, it hovers over them with the classic mischievous grin. The jigglypuff case gleamed in the warm sunlight

"How about a picture to commemorate this special moment?" She suggests with a smile, already beginning to pose for the photo-op.

HAZEL KLEIN

She was completely clueless when it came to ghost types. Growing up she was surrounded by water-types which is how she learned about them. "wow.. that's pretty cool of you." Sunny states with a starry-eyed expression. She considered herself to be the type of person Hazel described - a fear of ghosts. It was a unreasonable fear, people were far more wicked compared to spirits and ghosts. She perks up when Hazel begins explaining her shop. During the entire conversation there was a curiosity growing inside her to find out more about it. She only stopped herself from doing so to not come off as obnoxious and not bombard her with a million questions.

Sunny figured it'd be a unique experience to get a tarot reading. She's seen the businesses around before but never had the courage to get a reading before. Now that she knows Hazel does readings she definitely will have to visit sometimes to support her! Sunny's pokemon greet Hazel and the others eagerly. Her treecko and swampert seemed rather disinterested with the prospect of playing - after their greeting her swampert headed into the lake for a swim and the treecko settled down to nap under the shade of a tree. "Sorry about those two - honestly they prefer napping." she speaks with eased laughter, her eyes shifting away from them to observe her lombre interact with Carmen and Finn.

"Anyway! I'd love to get a tarot reading sometime. I never got one done before!" Sunny does little to conceal the excitement in her voice while addressing Hazel. A nearby rustling briefly caught Sunny's attention but once it settled down her focus was redirected to Hazel. "Could you tell the hours of your shop?" She asks with a bright smile

HAZEL KLEIN

From the looks of it Ghost's pokemon would have no problem with the rhydon. Tunka's submission toss was impressive, Sunny had no idea how such a small pokemon was able to toss a rhydon like a doll. The situation quickly escalated when a rhyperior emerged - verbally gasping at it's raw power she was stunned and it took Ghost's shout to snap her out of the daze.

"Right, lets get ready! Quickly use nature power!" Sunny's lombre enters a stance absorbing the little nature that surrounded to make it his own power.

She shields her eyes from the smoke but the intensity still leaves a painful sensation running throughout her body. "I believe other rangers are evacuating the civilians!" She responds to his concern a sense of panic could be heard in her tone as she didn't completely know the situation or cause of the fire.


Flames roared when doused by the water moves, crackling in a frenzy - their efforts seemed to be working. "That's it! keep going everyone!" Sunny shouted words of encouragement her pokemon became re-energized thanks to the support of Wrens, they continued to blast away at the fire with a hydro pump.

I'm sorry! I have no clue!!" Guilt consumes her when asked about the source, Sunny knew that they needed to stop the source of the fire. If they didn't this battle of flames would be never ending. Shortly afterwards she heard a distant explosion followed by panicked shouting. Suddenly the flames are replenished and blaze stronger than before, caught off guard Sunny sustains a burn to her arm.

"Argh!" She cries out her face twisting in pain. She clutches it instinctively but the gesture only worsens the pain. Gritting her teeth she does her best to ignore it, "Everyone okay!?" She calls out into the smoke coughing midway. Throughout the chaos a wild pokemon's roar echoed loudly, and sunny briefly caught a glimpse of it - it was a salemence going on a rampage. Burning everything in it's line of sight.

"That's it! We have to put a stop to salamence's rampage!"
